I think it's time to hold judgment until we can sift out the details.
It also appears - appears - that the victim was was a pot-smoker driving on a suspended license. IF that's the case, he may not have been happy about pulling over and having to report insurance information when he wasn't supposed to be driving.
She's in a visible place and has called the cops already ~ I"m guessing the dispatcher told her to proceed to a safe place like a gas station and wait for them ~ ol' goober there probably wasn't privy to that conversation ~ but we'll see.
well, whaddaya know...
marijuana kills
So then it was just a coincidence that they pulled off at the same exit and into the same Shell station after an accident??? Get real.
Muy interesante ~ can hardly wait for the 911 call.
So, she pulls off and he pulls off ~ where’s your conversation? Looks like he followed her there ~ doesn’t mean he did but that’s what it looks like. Check Scoutmaster’s rap sheet on this dude. Bet she doesn’t have one!
But how do you explain her putting two bullets into him???
Did you run a DMV on her???
Most security cams are not audio-equipped. However, it will be interesting to hear how many and at what spacing the witnesses heard.
Don't bet the farm:
Crystal Jana Scott was released from custody, according to the Harris County Sheriffs Office. A bond of $200 was set for Mrs. Scott, who is listed as living at 338 Spell in Houston (77022). Scott was reportedly arrested on 4 charges, including improper change of lanes, failure to signal lane change, expired inspection certificate and driving with expired registration.
Very interesting ....
So you still are trying to weave your "carjacking" theory into this?? And it wasn't just a mistype....
Good luck.
“So she shot him and then got out of the car and shot him again while he was on the ground.”
It’s looking that way to me. Maybe there’s another explanation, but that seems the most likely one, if he was really shot twice.
“The other later URL says he’d been doing the old squat and stop in front of her ~ I think Allstate featured that in their piece about insurance fraud.”
According to one witness, they were cutting each other off. So you could just as well make the case that she was trying to pull something on him.
Now, supposedly he was in front of her, braking, but AFTER the collision. I wonder if he wasn’t just trying to get her to pull over because she was trying to flee, in light of her later behavior.
Actually, in this case bullets killed, but nice try.
Dismissed? You are trying too hard to protect this guy and to convict her. The shooting took place on 9/17. The disposition date on his license suspension was on 9/19, after his death was apparently entered into the system. His license was still suspended on the day he was shot.
In Texas, if he were driving on a suspended license, that would be punishable by up to six months in jail.
But how do you explain her putting two bullets into him???
I don't. I only see one hole in her side window in the photo. Maybe she opened her door and shot him again while he was on the ground. In that case, I'm stunned that none of the stories report that. It leads me to believe she didn't . . . but as most Freepers seemed to agree with the Zimmerman case, it may be best to let the investigators do their work and to wait for the details to come it before we all start to draw conclusions.
For example, I want to know if the police checked her car door handle for his prints and what they found. I'd like to hear more about what the witnesses said.
Did you run a DMV on her?
Not yet. I was waiting until after you acknowledged that one or more witnesses at the scene supported her story of the incident, regarding his aggression.
Let's wait to draw our conclusions until we know more of the details of the investigation.

Amazing. Whenever there a crime that is black and white you, Uncle Chip, always know exactly what happened, and even what those involved were thinking....and somehow it's always the black player who's guilty. It must make you feel sooooo special to have such power.
“That might explain why he was upset — getting into an accident just after that was just dismissed.”
I think it was probably dismissed because he was deceased. Just guessing.
He is a fine upstanding high libertarian and she discriminated against the poor guy. heh.
