Yeah, yeah. At least he wasn’t an old sourpuss who got his jollies from ridiculing the dead who can’t defend themselves.
BINGO!
Which is why we should all wait for the details of the investigation.
Incidentally, muawiyah was misquoting me about the "carjacking." Before that statement was made, I had just quoted an article stating that she had purchased her gun and gotten her concealed carry after a previous road rage in which somebody had attacked and damaged her car. Don't know if the article was true, but that's what I told muawiyah.
Dude has a rap sheet though, and there's a nice 911 call somewhere.
Is this how idiots flirt in Houston these days?
I don't edit very much of what I write due to some inadequacies in my visual accuity ~ particularly when I"m reading other stuff.
Just popped the wrong word into the old typing tube ~ but then again we have that story where she describes STOP AND SQUAT behavior on his part ~ and that can be involved in either carjacking or insurance fraud events.
Yes, I know...........
Idiots are EVERYWHERE! Even where you live.
Regarding onlooker testimony, one guy says the only commotion that caught his attention was the gunfire. I don’t know about you guys, but when I am in public or doing something mindless like pumping gas, I tune out all background noise and my mind is on other things. I may not notice someone yelling with the cacophony of other noise in a big city. I would certainly notice gunfire, though.
<>Dismissed? You are trying too hard to protect this guy and to convict her.<>
Get over it. I’m only quoting what you posted. It’s right there on the form top left or don’t you read what you post???
<>I only see one hole in her side window in the photo. Maybe she opened her door and shot him again while he was on the ground. In that case, I’m stunned that none of the stories report that. It leads me to believe she didn’t <>
Then you didn’t read this article posted earlier:
“Sheriff’s deputies found the man in the Shell parking lot with what appeared to be two gunshot wounds to his upper chest area.”
Explain that —
Now, about the tats? Got anything on that?
Except that's not what the law says.
George Zimmerman had several arrests as well.
Should Joe Horn have backed off and waited for the police he had already called to arrive rather than shooting two attempted burglars? In the back? Or was he justified in accosting two unarmed men on his neighbors property and shooting them both because he felt threatened? Police thought the later.
wonder what they'd say about hunting the guy who put you in fear of your life later and slowly poisoned him ~ bet they'd draw a line to that. like if you survive whatever was going on do you get to revisit him with a kidnapping and slow torture? eventually those lines will be crossed and that particular law will find courts requiring something more than the killer's claim.
You’re drinking again....I guess.
My head is on a swivel always when in public places with people all around.
I read before I posted. The difference is that I read the whole thing. The top left is a current summary of all charges; all are currently dismissed ("He's dead, Jim"). If you read down, you'll find the license suspension wasn't dismissed until 9/19/2012, after his death. Jonathan was driving on a suspended license, it appears.
Sheriffs deputies found the man in the Shell parking lot with what appeared to be two gunshot wounds to his upper chest area.
Explain that
I'll take a stab.
She shot him twice.
That's what I acknowledged above. I'm still trying to figure out the second shot. It looks like only one hole in the window; however, if she opened the door and shot him a second time, when he was on the ground or otherwise, you would think one of the stories would mention that.
Which brings us full circle to what I've been suggesting all along . . . let's wait until more of the details are in before we reach conclusions.
For what it's worth, the suspended license wasn't dismissed until two days after the guy was dead. Apparently, when he was driving and got into this accident, he was driving on a suspended license.
You don't shoot a guy for driving with a suspended license . . . but the guy may not have been a cheerful mood to exchange insurance information. Driving on a suspended license in Texas can net you six months in jail.
You said that Scott has reason to lie.....what is the reason?
We don't know the mood of either person.
I agree completely. Considering that - and with the conflicting eyewitness testimony and the police failure to charge her - I find it amusing that people are so willing to find the shooter guilty before more facts are in. I'm not saying you've taken that position.
