All you have to do is lay out enough silage and they come running.....Eighty percent of the people who call themselves Democrats dont have a clue as to political reality......The voter is basically dumb and lazy....I can make the Democratic voters think whatever I want them to.

"Despite his rabid pit bull demeanor, James Carville always seemed to have too sharp a mind to be a Democrat. The mystery is resolved, if this quote from ThinkExist.com is legit"

He ended the sentence with a preposition but other thatn that it’s perfect.

I loathe Carville and while this quote may or may not be true, it is very close to what Goebbels said.

Except all Dems think it is the OTHERS who are dumb, themselves the more enlightened/smart/beutiful/kind-hearted/whatever.....

Anybody can be fooled, and ideology and politics has nothing to do with it.
But, democrats don't care if they're being fooled. They come back for more of the same, over and over and over..

Think about what he is saying.
To be a Rat, you have to be
a) True believer therefore ignorant
b) a Con Artist then you are Carville
c) a Crook ( and Con Artist) then you are Zero & the Clintons.
Yeah that just about covers what it is to be a Rat.

Anyone who comes along and
- tells them it's all right to fool themselves, and...
- helps them fool themselves more totally
immediately becomes their hero.

Carville should dump Matalin and hook up with ValJ.
The offspring would make Martian aliens look normal.

James and Mary,,,, I get the feeling it’s all just a game to them.. Otherwise, how could they live together? I don’t think they take things political seriously at all.

Of course, that's part of the way they can be, and are constantly fooled. If somebody tells them often enough that they are the more enlightened and smart, they will start believing it, and they want to believe it.
The kind-hearted part is what keeps them going back for more of the punishment which they suffer, and, it's why you will find that, the liberal mind is the one that, will believe that there is some good to be found even in the most evil person that can be found. To liberals, Hannibal would be seen as a victim of his growing years. And, Al-Qaeda must've been wronged by the U.S., someway and sometime, and, the U.S. ends up being the villain.
In essence, the liberalism ends up being one of the most dangerous ideologies the world has ever known, because, while they profess to be kind-hearted, and smart and knowledgeable, their methods encourage and enable a lot of evil in the world.

With out a source for this quote I dont believe it.
Carville may believe this of his fellow rank and file Democratic brethren but I dont believe he would ever say this in a forum where he could be quoted. I just dont believe Carville is that stupid.
People can post what ever they like on a website and with out attributing a source how do you prove them wrong.
So unless there is a trusted source for such quotes that I can go to and check I wont believe that any intelligent individual would say something like this.

Money quote:
What amazes me is that you could take a group of people who are hard workers and convince them that they should support social programs that were the exact opposite of their own personal convictions. Put a little fear here and there and you can get people to vote any way you want. MY mother was born in 1933, Roosevelt Democrat. For years she would ask how I could be a conservative. I told her that this was how she and dad had raised us kids. Strive for exxcellance, a hand up is better than a hand out. Follow the teaching of your faith, don't just mouth them on Sundays.
Pay your bills on time, enjoy life with out ruining someone elses..... The list goes on.
Finally this election cycle she is beginning to understand.

It’s a more complicated way of saying “All liberals are either ignorant or evil.”
To: Dr. Bogus Pachysandra
I said the same thing several years ago here in a similar conversation about the Carville/Matalin marriage and it’s functional impossibility - and another Freeper who knew them personally said James is actually a lot more conservative than he lets on and his media personna is a put on and money-maker, but not the real James Carville.

Wouldn’t surprise me at all!
