Donald Trump is to claim that he has unearthed divorce papers of Michelle Obama and the President, according to a respected financial pundit with links to the tycoon.
It is alleged that the eccentric real estate mogul will claim that the documents show the First Lady and the President were at one point in their two decades of marriage seriously considering splitting up.
Trump set the hare running on Monday by claiming that he was set to make an announcement on Wednesday that would be ‘bordering on gigantic' and that it would ‘possibly’ change the Presidential race.

The divorce papers in and of themselves wouldn’t cause Obama too much trouble. Michelle would do the Hillary thing and rush to her man’s side and say they had worked out their problems and now they are in bliss. Probably gain Obama a few votes.
Of course, if there are details in the filing, that could be the damaging stuff. An affair, mental breakdown, domestic violence, etc.
Considering how much Trump has been talking about it, you gotta think there must be something pretty damaging there. I cannot imagine that he isn’t talking behind the scenes to the Romney campaign. I believe Romney would put pressure on Trump to be quiet unless they felt this was somehow helpful to the campaign. Romney is on a roll right now, and he doesn’t want a 2 week personal distraction from Obama’s horrible record.
And then again, it could be a Gloria Allred counter attack.
How many times had Donald been married and divorced? This is non-news.
Hopefully that is not what it is. No one would care - unless the papers say something that would affect Obama’s eligibility.
I believe that his college and law school records are sealed because he applied as a foreign student. Even if he wasn’t one, he was likely looking for as much affirmative action as he could get. THAT would be hard to explain.
Releasing this now could backfire and create sympathy for Obama.
Bad move, Trump. Bad move.
