We had a house guest over the weekend from Oregon who used to live in Southern California. She was talking about Romney and how he saved the Olympics while she lived there. She recalled how the entire event was doomed to failure until he assumed control and how he and his staff reached out to volunteers, mobilized them into a coherent plan of actions and executed to save the Olympics. She was a nurse and she explained how they had planning meetings, took vital information and vetted everyone prior to the beginning. Why haven't we seen one story about this in the media?
Probably because Romney saved the Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, not the summer games in LA.
Romney + success = nocoverage
The Olympics Romney saved were held in Salt Lake City, Utah.
She said they ran ads in the Southern California newspapers asking for volunteers in the medical, security and other groups. She went and helped out.
“...in Southern California. She was talking about Romney and how he saved the Olympics while she lived there.”
I’m a bit confused.
Romney was hired as President and CEO for the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City.
The 1984 Olympics were held in Los Angeles, led by Peter Ueberroth.
Why haven’t we seen one story about this in the media?
Because the media is shilling for Obama, not Romney. It shows Romney is a capable leader, and up to the task.
Obama is not.
One successful white businessman, another successful white businessman; what’s the difference?
Another example of why Leno’s “Jay-Walking” segment has become a staple of the program. There must an ignorance vortex somewhere in southern CA, luring the clueless like Scylla and Charybdis. Not just mythology, it seems...
