FWIW..I think here's why they separated the sexes...Watching last night, the guys seem incredibly weak ( they may be holding back a few really good singers) but if they had them all together, they'd probably end up with far more girls than guys..this way they can get down to the final 40, or 20, or whatever..with equal numbers.

And why does the transgendered "it" get [put with the guys? He's been trying to get away from that all his life, right?

Have you seen anything about this season's rules? Judge's save(s), etc?
