While dogs are known to occasionally display homosexual behaviour, animal experts say a male dog mounting another male dog is not a sign of sexual orientation but rather a sign of dominance.

The dog's fate has sparked a frantic appeal among animal lovers to find a new owner before it's too late.

A Facebook page has been set up with the message: 'Don't let this gorgeous dog die bc his owner is ignorant of normal dog behavior!

'He's in kennel 10L and he WILL be put down tomorrow bc there is no room at the inn!'

A lot of the comments at the site indicate that most people don’t realize this is a gimmick. I’ve seen shelters use this ploy on craigslist as they try and place dogs out for adoption.

That picture is kind of ‘misleading’.

Are they all ‘telling’ the guy in the center “Kiss my arse”, is the guy in the center picking his ‘date’ for the night OR
looking at the garb on the ‘human’ in the picture these appear to be Military Working Dogs, and possibly the guy in the middle is the ‘prisoner’ or SGT,

Either way, interesting picture inasmuch as keeping 8 dogs still enough to snap it.....

GUARANTEE ....Ain’t no cats gonna stay perfect like that to give the picture a chance of being snapped.

I am convinced the supposed ‘attempted buggering’ is more of a domination thing...I have 2 young male cats, both ‘fixed’ and when they ‘wrestle’ if not going for the ‘throat’ it is the mounting.

This is frickin’ hilarious!.....EVERY account you see about vicious dog behavior and animal control from bleeding heart liberals indicates they want to mince these dogs into oblivion...BAN THEM! Imprison the Owners! Eradicate them!
