What do you want America to look like in 30-50 years?
The Conservative Beacon ^ | Conservative Beacon

I have not posted here in a while, but I wanted to reach out to my fellow freepers for your views on a very important topic: the future of America.

We know our current situation and its continued decline should the course not be altered. I am interested in what America will look like in 30-50 years should we reverse our current course.

So I am curious as to what that America looks like to you. What is your dream, best case scenario 30-50 year vision of America, all facets-overall culture, education, media, government, etc?

Seniors didn't vote against Obama last year. Greedy seniors voted for two candidates (Romney and Ryan) who assured them that they would do nothing to slow the growth of senior handouts for people who are currently more than 55 years old.

"Gimme, gimme, gimme!"

"Pay me 'til I tell you to stop!"

Today’s seniors didn’t vote for FDR’s Social Security!

While your history of Europe and China is weird enough

What part of it is wrong?

they don’t like conservatism and do not support it, and are destroying it.

Really? How do you know? Do you watch the eye-rolls when the libs launch into sermons? How many young people do you mentor?

BS. You get most of your news from cyberspace or television.

But they dang sure won't vote to end it. They get rather pissy about that. Even here on FR.

So they didn’t vote for Obama in 2012 because, and they voted against him in 2008, because.

What logic is there in attacking anti-Obama voters and glorifying 66% pro-Obama voters?

While you are watching their eyes roll, I am reading the exit polling saying that they supported Obama by 66% and 77%.

The exit polling for seniors show that they vote against Obama.

Don't even try to compare this current crop of seniors with the Greatest Generation!

The Greatest Generation survived the Great Depression.

The current generation of seniors survived disco.

The Greatest Generation spread peace throughout the world by conquering the largest armies in history.

The current generation of seniors spread herpes.

After the harvest, there will be another truly great generation that will restore American values and freedom.

You are looking very short term.

Seniors vote for preserving their SS. That's why there are liberal Republicans that won't touch the entitlement part of the budget.

Wow, seniors vote republican because they are more conservative, something that the young will never be, seniors are repulsed by the left, and are patriotic and understand the value of conservationism and conservative economics better, and desire that conservatism.

Your simple way of explaining the senior vote just isn’t accurate, and I have no idea what makes you think will somehow make the most leftwing young people in American history, start voting against the democrat party, that isn’t going to happen.

As the older white Americans die off, then that will be the end of conservatism in America, all of america will be swallowed up like California and other states, and cities.

Listen to your whiney, scared self.

No. Real conservatives, that aren't voting to protect their social security will take their place, and grow stronger than conservatives that are stuck with the current republicans that won't touch SS entitlements.

How long was the 'end of conservatism' in the old soviet union? How long did communism last?

What age group are those conservatives hiding in when we look at the voting data?

Is it in the 66% of the under 30 vote that Obama won in 2008? Is it the 77% of the ever increasing Hispanic vote, or the other 75% or so of the immigrant vote?

Does reality matter to you at all, or do you want to continue telling us that those voting against the left, are the left, and that those voting for the left, are the right?

As I told you. Your voting thing doesn't matter much.

Was there a vote about shutting down the CCCP? Or did folks just walk away from a stinking mess that history left them?

Good Lord man, Russia isn't the US, and they did not write a law 50 years ago to replace their voters with democrat voting foreigners, forget this silly Russia stuff.

What do you think happened in California, that the WASPs just quit voting against the democrats suddenly?

The old original America still votes pretty much as it always has, the demographics is what changed, and is what owns the future.
