Friday, April 19, 2013, during a manhunt for a bombing suspect, police and federal agents spent the day storming people's homes and performing illegal searches. While it was unclear initially if the home searches were voluntary, it is now crystal clear that they were absolutely NOT voluntary. Police were filmed ripping people from their homes at gunpoint, marching the residents out with their hands raised in submission, and then storming the homes to perform their illegal searches.
This was part of a larger operation that involved total lockdown of the suburban neighbor to Boston. Roads were barricaded and vehicle traffic was prohibited. A No-Fly Zone was declared over the town. People were "ordered" to stay indoors. Businesses were told not to open. National Guard soldiers helped with the lockdown, and were photographed checking IDs of pedestrians on the streets. All the while, police were performing these disgusting house-to-house searches.
There is a rapist raping women in the city, he’s done it every day and he’s in this neighborhood for sure. Would it be reasonable to search every house? If you say yes then maybe you’re at the wrong site. There is nothing reasonable about searching every house in a very wide area because a terrorist is somewhere there. The argument is outrageous and there are far too many willing to accept it for my liking. The last stand of freedom on earth and you’re OK with these witch hunts? I think the fact that he wasn’t caught until people were allowed out of their homes is a tell tale sign on how rubbish this approach was
Which will lose. The law is clear on these sorts of things.
No call for them to stick guns in the faces of uninvolved civilians.
There aren’t enough Feds, including military, to invoke martial law on tiny Mass. let alone the US. There just aren’t the numbers.

We know in our bones that they want to disarm us and flood us with 3rd world types and terrorists. Then, we, the Americans, will simply be butchered, as will many in this world. I think the US will become a strip mine.
That's why the people of Watertown were lining the streets cheering the police, right?
The law is not clear on closing an entire city,searching people’s homes without cause and certainly not dragging them out at gunpoint. The constitution is clear on unwarranted searches. My hope is that these searches that got filmed that are all over conspiracy sites are the searches that had something to do with the perps.

unless everyone is unarmed and compliant. The lock down showed that it’s not too unrealistic. I’ve heard the talk of marshal law many times and I never even thought twice about it. I didn’t think it was very realistic. I just watched what happened in MA and it’s realistic to me now
That’s funny, I thought that governments, especially one that receives its grant of power From the people, were instituted to preserve our rights. Perhaps I was mistaken.

EV, there were several disturbing videos posted on YouTube, wish I had kept a couple of links. Is it constitutional to march several residents out of one home, and into the street with their hands on back of their heads, then make them lie face down on the sidewalk?

My sister-in-law lives in the area, and yesterday she said people are quite angry about the way searches were handled.
People celebrated Castro and Chavez. The fact that people are ignorant of what is happening does not justify what is happening. Just about every modern dictator (who has turned out to be quite ruthless) was ushered in with cheers and applauds.
That’s exactly what they were doing, protecting the people’s lives, liberty and property. From terrorists.

Hard to believe the neighboring State New Hampshire’s motto is “Live Free or Die”! If the government can give you everything it can take it away! Also,all this for an injured 19 year old man?
