A teacher was arrested after she allegedly raped a boy in her classroom after he handed in a test.
The high school teacher in New Mexico is accused of raping her male student in her classroom.
Jennifer Vigil, 31, was arrested Tuesday after the student told police he was forced into having sex with his teacher at the Pojoaque Valley High School in Santa Fe. Vigil maintains that the sex was consensual, but the student disagreed he claimed that the teacher forced him to have sex after she locked the door of the classroom and he was unable to leave.
According to the student, his teacher performed oral sex on him. The student took a picture of the sex act with his cellphone. He only consented to sex because Vigil locked the doors and he felt pressured into doing so, according to police. Vigil apparently claims the student had requested sexual favors, and that he is an adult by law.

The law is very strange when it comes to stuff like this and I don’t envy the judges at all who have to decide on this stuff. For example I read one case once where an 18 year old man had sex with a 17 year old girl and he was sentenced to 5 years in prison (which was overturned later on). The problem seems to be that the law and nature are not in synch. The body tells us the time to breed starts at 13. But the law says “no way”...You have to wait till your 18, and that causes all kinds of problems. Even if it is consensual, the law looks at the minor as being coerced because he or she is “under age”/naive, and that falls under rape. Either way it makes me wonder, who is more naive? The student or the teacher?

No doubt this is series, in fact its hugh. Especially since the story involves a women teacher. People need to improve there language and speling.
At that age I could only dream about being subjected to that kind of “trauma.” I guess back when I was in high school most of the teaching staff still had some morals.
And in my case, if something like this HAD happened I’d probably have ended up in another school since my dad taught math at my HS.

It should not really matter if in the case of a teacher and current student at the same school (and i would even say within the same district) if it is consentual... it is wrong... we are not mere animals without the ability to reason... and that ought to mostly apply to the teacher... i think too many people who really are not teacher material are allowed to become teachers...
How and who, would determine if someone is teacher material? Especially for something like this

These teachers are morons plain and simple and the unions back them up. I’ve read letters written by teachers where you would swear they were written by a 6 year old. How the hell did they *ever* get through college? Like my tagline says about misspelling “lose” and “loose”...A lot of people today mistake those words because they got it directly from the teachers. I’ve seen it! Teachers actually writing “Bush is a looser”. “Prolly” is another big one. “I prolly won’t go to the store today.”

With public or government school it really cannot be done... i know that... you get what you get... i liken government school to government housing... but if parents took personal responsibility for their children’s education, it can be done easily... what i am referring to is private school, private tutoring... home education... it is way too easy to able to become a government school teacher... anyone can do it... there was even a teacher who was illiterate... could not read...
You are, of course, correct...boys at that age are horny, little brush apes. And sure, the teacher shouldn’t have done it and should be punished. But to say boys that age are traumatized is, like you said, utter BS. I think this kid’s parents see some money coming from a lawsuit.
