Well, it may be true in the animal kingdom, but not always true with human kind. My mom has two older sons that she absolutely adores. Me not so much. I never really got it and I guess I never will.
I drive through an open range on the way to work every morning and this time of year the cows are out there with their calves. It is the sweetest thing what good mothers they are, and totally by instinct.

I love my mother but I confess I’ve always been closer to dad growing up. It wasn’t until a few years ago I became really close to mom and we not only were mother and daughter, she became my friend.
You should honor/ treasure your mom and dad every day.

This is classic. Smart @ss trouble maker monkey kid pushes his brother/sister in the river, mom scoops him/her right up, and dad pushes the trouble maker behind him as if to say "get out of here you idiot!" This is all very human like behavior and hilarious.
Absolutely adorable. Love them all, but #3 and # 12 are killing me.
