Typical “piece”: zoom in on people’s faces, intersperse a few stock animations, and don’t show anything real.

Garbage.

So many visual effects have been added that it is difficult to ascertain what is real in this video.

Bubble is formed and rides the sound wave to center of chamber (think of an eggcrate formed by sound waves). Then you tune the sound waves in such a manner that the bubble expands (pressure drops) during one phase and then collapses on itself during the compression phase. Once pressure increases (along with temperature), the gas will radiate. Temperature are hotter than the sun, but not high enough for fusion (has been tried about 10 years ago with deuterated water and acetone fluid). Seth putterman at ucla worked on this.

Yes but if it caused fusion, that would in turn jump the economy which is against the law of liberals who would immediately in turn call for water regulations and sound locks and a total ban on Mr. Bubble.

BANNED!

Fusion in a hydrogen bottle??

I want one. I have uses for a reasonably simple and cheap thermonuclear device.

IIRC Putterman’s group (and a few others) thought they had seen excess neutrons (the kind that indicate D-T fusion reaction is occurring), but they could never conclusively prove it was not coming from the natural background or calibration sources.
