OTTAWA - Plants entombed under ice in Canada's far north for centuries have come back to life after exposure to air and sunlight, Canadian researchers have found.

I found that by merely not allowing any coins to lay on the floor more than 10 seconds, all signs of Democratic life moved away.

I am reminded of an old 1950s movie released by 20th Century Fox about a scientist growing a slime in a sealed cave.
To kill it they break the glass to let in air which is supposed to kill it, but the slime does not die but becomes immune.
Can’t remember the name of the film.
