Tom Lehrer sang about this 50 years ago in his tune “National Brotherhood Week” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CgASBVMyVFI

Oh, the white folks hate the black folks,
And the black folks hate the white folks.
To hate all but the right folks
Is an old established rule.

But during National Brotherhood Week, National Brotherhood Week,
Lena Horne and Sheriff Clarke are dancing cheek to cheek.
It’s fun to eulogize
The people you despise,
As long as you don’t let ‘em in your school.

Oh, the poor folks hate the rich folks,
And the rich folks hate the poor folks.
All of my folks hate all of your folks,
It’s American as apple pie.

But during National Brotherhood Week, National Brotherhood Week,
New Yorkers love the Puerto Ricans ‘cause it’s very chic.
Step up and shake the hand
Of someone you can’t stand.
You can tolerate him if you try.

Oh, the Protestants hate the Catholics,
And the Catholics hate the Protestants,
And the Hindus hate the Muslims,
And everybody hates the Jews.

But during National Brotherhood Week, National Brotherhood Week,
It’s National Everyone-smile-at-one-another-hood Week.
Be nice to people who
Are inferior to you.
It’s only for a week, so have no fear.
Be grateful that it doesn’t last all year!

This logo says a lot more of the true American Spirit, than that namby pamby sticker does.

Here's a black-on-white version that prints a lot better that that white-on-black one. Keep some in your glove box, put them under the wipers of people with the stupid bumper sticker.

It also pompously announces “I am an enlightened, morally superior pacifist and you are not”.

By the way, just today I saw my very first 2012 Obama/Biden bumper sticker.

You must not get down to Oak Lawn very often.

BEFORE the B>O>B crowd starts to jump into my sh—t, I understand the ‘meaning’ was probably “If I do something stupid or unexpected, it is because I have an infant in car”

Actually, the BoB signs were a reaction to similar signs that said "Show Dogs on Board". These were actually half-serious, half boasting tags that asked other drivers indulgence since the driver of said vehicle might be drive slower or more cautiously. Someone wrote into to Roger Caras' "Pets and Wildlife" segment on WCBS-AM asking if she should display such a placard. Mr. Caras was typically withering in his response. He said that putting on one of those stickers was pretentious and drew attention to the vehicle as one worth braking into, and certainly show dogs are no more valuable than children. He may have unintentionally started something.

Among the more humorous retorts to the inane "Show Dogs on Board" stickers were parodies like "Ex-wife in Trunk" or "Mother-in-Law in Trunk".

Why is there no swastika on the sticker? After all we must be tolerant to all. NAZI’s are people too.

“Yep, I see them here in Texas. By the way, just today I saw my very first 2012 Obama/Biden bumper sticker. The car had Minnesota plates. Of course. He was heading north on I-35...thankfully.”

I’ve been saying for years that ICE is guarding the wrong River. Maybe I might be for those additional 20,000 Border Patrol agents in the senate immigration bill if they would be stationed along the Red River (of course, my Okie friends would be allowed free passage, maybe issued a special Texian green card or something, lol). Just fun’ing :)

They don’t mean “coexist.” They mean that Christianity and Judaism have to get out of the way for the others.

I have always suspected the stickers were used by anti-semetics. I am sure they blame Israel for the middle east problems.
