After reading Vol. 5, Dance With Dragons, I was going into withdrawal, reading Robert Jordan to ease the pain, even watching the awful HBO series.

There there. George R R Martin is hard at work writing the next book, he'll probably get 20 pages done before attending all the parties at ComiCon, then there'll be the two weeks of recovery after that appearance, follow on interviews, and whatnot. He'll likely get back to writing the next few pages in August...
If the drugs weren't so good, we wouldn't be jonesing for them so badly...

It’s allegedly done. They have a copyright 2013 sign at the end of the excerpted chapter and everything. Anyway, you really can’t excerpt unless you’re done, because otherwise you have to rewrite for internal consistency with a chapter already on your web site that might be internally inconsistent.
