This is a strange analysis from someone who is usually pretty conservative. He is claiming some things that the prosecution isn’t even presenting. Even if what Savage is saying is true, I’m not sure how that changes what happened. Check it out:
On his show on, talk show host Michael Savage said that George Zimmerman, who is currently on trial for the murder of Trayvon Martin, should be found guilty of second-degree manslaughter based on two things: 1) The state of his firearm and 2) The language he allegedly used on a 911 call when he was first reporting his suspicions about Martin.
But first Savage explained why his insight should be valued over others in the media covering the trial.
“I’m about to break an analysis that no one yet in the media has done, as you would expect from me — being the senior member of the American media and possibly the most insightful,” Savage said. “And I have to blow my own horn because everyone else tries to break my horn.”
Dear Michael Savage, doctor you are not:
Thew purpose of carrying a concealed firearm is self-defense. Carrying a concealed weapon, without a round in the chamber, is just plain dumb!
On another board, someone has already debunked your ‘safety’ theory, since the firearm in question does NOt function as you think it should.
Now, this is why I chose to consider the firearm I have, when I go and apply for my ccw license. My choice? A J-frame design snubnose revolver, with all five charge holes loaded.
As far as with all that I have seen and read, it’s “Citizen splash 1, punk-thuggee dirt nap”.
It really irked me when those “expert” witnesses would say Zimmerman's head and nose wounds weren't bad enough for him to shoot the guy. What planet do they live on? If he hadn't shot him, the guy would have beaten his brains out on the concrete - he wasn't going to stop until the gun shot stopped him.
LOL.

Savage is more of an intuitive talker than a careful thinker. He doesn’t seem to bother with that part of the brain whose job it is to see that we don’t say things that are just stupid.
savage has been prism’d.
virtually all ccw’s carry with a round in the chamber ready to be useful. so do cops. when you need it you don’t have time to manually chamber a round.
If you can't pick up his show on terrestrial radio, you can probably listen to his shows online. I suspect he's got a website where you could hear previous broadcasts.

Yea well I don’t care. When white rich guys start taking the side of black street thugs and their culture over any white person just because it makes them feel good or look good to other elistists then it’s time for me to end my interest in that person.

Savage has always been a freakin’ kook! Not only do I disagree with him, but after listening to his show...I detest him personally.

I think Savage has dug a hole too deep. All he wants is attention and he’s getting less and less of it.
That’s what infuriated me about that ME’s testimony that his head injury wasn’t that bad. Did she see a CT scan? Just because it doesn’t require stiches, doesn’t mean it isn’t bad!

I had a head injury in 2006 as a result of a car accident. No stitches. Blood from the ear, swelled brain, fractured cranium (might explain a few things, but I digress).
Things aren’t always as they appear on the exterior, and absent a CT scan or MRI, or other evaluative testing, that ME’s testimony means nothing.
That’s interesting that the penalty is different because of the age of the victim. What if Zimmerman had been that same age?
Also, does the jury have the option of finding him guilty of manslaughter, or is it 2nd degree or acquittal?
Savage is now dead to me. I used to consider him a fairly charming kook. Entertaining but harmless. But here he’s willing to toss an innocent man under the bus just in order to generate some personal publicity with another of his carefully calculated “over-the-top” statements. This is the kind of stuff Rose O’Donnell or Joy Behar does. Unfortunately, Savage has chosen to place himself in their category.
Savage says that Zimmerman is guilty of what he’s charged with, i.e., manslaughter. So we should believe the analysis of someone who totally missed the purpose of the trial?
“I love Michael Savage but on this he hasn’t a clue of what he’s talking about.”
I don’t “love” Savage, never have and never will. He’s just another radio shock jock scratching for a living. Check his ratings, bet he’s angling for a boost.
