Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Fathers care. 30 And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 31 So dont be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows. — Matthew 10:29-31, NIV
The Father cares even for sparrows. When he created the animals he pronounced them good. He made provision for animals to survive the great flood. His son was born in a stable, and laid in a feeding trough for animals. He has used animals to communicate lessons to His flock.
Luke 14:3-6
3 Jesus asked the Pharisees and experts in the law, Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath or not? 4 But they remained silent. So taking hold of the man, he healed him and sent him on his way.
5 Then he asked them, If one of you has a child or an ox that falls into a well on the Sabbath day, will you not immediately pull it out? 6 And they had nothing to say.
Exodus 23:4-5
4 If you come across your enemys ox or donkey wandering off, be sure to return it. 5 If you see the donkey of someone who hates you fallen down under its load, do not leave it there; be sure you help them with it.

Not saying you have to love animals, but God does care for the animals he created, and he apparently does want people to intervene in the welfare of animals or children who are in harm’s way.
Duly noted. Thank you.
