Paying what price, exactly? What, precisely, do they pay if a couple does not have children? We have more people in this country than ever. There are now ever 300 million people in it. Why do you think there needs to be more? When I was born there were about 200 million. We were fine then. Why do we need 300 million?

It's the "disconnect" that's coming back to bite us all, and bite us hard.
We've gone from "blessed event" to "baby bump" (as if that's some sort of optional fashion accessory.)
It seems that with the rise in "legal" abortion (child-killing) and contraceptive (child-preventing) technologies, there has also been a rise is development of greater fertility-enhancing technologies. There is nothing natural about this.
What we were taught in school about birth control (oral contraception) was that it was a mother's labor saving-device, an escape from what would have been a drudgery of endless pregnancies and premature aging and a houseful of unwanted, excess children. The extreme case scenario was made to be the biggest selling point, just as rape and incest were made to be the selling points for abortion. We all know how that turned out.
IMHO, if you don’t want children then fine. However, don’t plan on changing your mind when you hit 40 something. I use to work with a woman who had about four abortions. One was done very quickly because she and her husband were going on a cruise. Didn’t want morning sickness to mess that up. Long story short, she hit forty something and lo and behold.. she suddenly wanted a child. She had taken her cruises and vacations.. she had her big home, she had it decorated beautifully, she had her job/career but yet... something was missing. The whole in vitro process began and she was a complete nut job each month when she wasn’t pregnant with the now supposedly desperately wanted child. So.. like I said... if you don’t want one then fine. However, don’t think that you can suddenly change your mind later and you will get your wish.
How awful. What kind of a woman is this? FOUR ABORTIONS, just as if she were removing a hangnail or something!

No danger of that; I'm just past 50 now, and can honestly say that there isn't the slightest chance I'll ever want children.
All four abortions were done when she was married. The most heartless and cold woman. The worst scene was the abortion prior to the cruise. She wanted to make sure all the bleeding had stopped so she wouldn’t be stuck in her cabin rather than snorkeling. I personally think her “change of heart” had more to do with her parents and his parents making out their wills. I believe they were giving bigger percentages to the children who had children. Made sense to me because they wanted those children to have larger “nest eggs” to pay for braces, schooling, etc..

I recently heard of a never-married over-40 woman who adopted a child (and had never in years past expressed any genuine desire for babies and children), and I wonder if it was for the same reasons.
Parenthood isn’t for everyone. My point is that it isn’t a decision one can necessarily change when it is now convenient. If a person has no interest whatsoever becoming a parent then fine. However, one should take every necessary precaution not to get someone pregnant or become pregnant and kill the child.
And the children of these illegal immigrants will feel no obligation to pay higher taxes to pay her pension or Social Security benefits.
Maybe she was waiting for Mr. Right and he never appeared. However, I do know a lot of people who arrange their will distribution based on need rather than an equal split. Many grandparents want their grandchildren the ability to get college or just some better things in life.

Unless she stands to inherit a small fortune, that's a terrible "investment". Kids are expensive (or so I've heard).
Hmmm....but, those libs supporting their kids w/o gov’t assistance seem to vote for everyone ELSE to support the “poor.” Until they wake up...but, it’s getting late.
