Great stuff. Deep Purple made a great choice when they picked him to replace Ritchie Blackmore. Their new album sounds amazing.

That's true, certainly true for all members of the band, up to and including Ian Paice. The ONLY drummer for Deep Purple for more than 40 years.

They were all competent and talented musicians and they defined the genre of heavy rock based around a guitar/keyboard lead instrument and showcasing a player's abilities.

I have loved listening to Steve Morse for years. His Tumeni Notes is amazing, but my favorite has always been his Country Colors.
