It used to be you could pretty much determine someone's age by what he or she was wearing. Not anymore.
I blame cargo shorts.
Cargo shorts bridged the fashion gap between generations a while back, and since then the lines of demarcation have been steadily eroding.
There was a time when the young dressed trendy, the middle-aged claimed conformity, seniors occupied the land of matching fuddy-duddy.

I’m not going to ask how you came into possession of them. Nope. Not gonna do it.
Bought them from the guy who won them in an on-air contest during a ‘Nights With Alice Cooper’ broadcast.
The COA is a note written by Alice that says “Congratulations. You have won a used pair of cargo shorts. You must be very proud”.
[wish I had a better story than that, but there it is]
