I loved the DVD confession part from White that he gave to Hank and the wife. That was classic putting Hank in a very tough situation to wiggle out of, especially cause they paid #200G for his recovery. They are so on with this whole series....

I missed that- so did walt actually poison that girls daughter? wow... i must have missed more than I thought

I know he made a replacement cigarette and went through the whole charade of searching the house for hours, only to pretend to find it in the vacuuming robot

It was pretty ingenious because it was peppered with enough truth (like the money to pay for Hank’s rehab)

I was in denial hoping that Walt didn't really poison that kid.

That would have been put to rest when we saw Walt disposing of the "Lilly of the Valley" plant after the successful bombing of Gus Fring.

And if jesse put 2 and 2 together and realized Walt poisoned the kid, that’s gonna be bad ....

it will certainly lead to a showdown

Walt’s a sociopath! It all really is about him, and everyone else is just a tool.

By now he's a master manipulator.

In the first of the new ones Marie says to Walt (laughing) "You're the devil" in the preview for next week's Jesse says "he's (Walt) the devil. I think we all get that point now. Walt, through his deeds has become totally evil and beyond redemption.

First Jesse realized that Saul’s henchmen had lifted his weed.

That reminded him of the day when he “lost” the ricin cigarette.

He was bumped by the same goon.

Ohhhh....that sequence had me a bit confused too. Thanks.

The last episode of season 4 we saw Walt disposing of the "Lilly of the Valley" plant right after the successful bombing of Gus Fring, so at that point we could be certain.

The writing is spectacularly good. All the details fit, and there are so many details that you can't possibly catch them all. That's why these threads are fun, because you get to find out things that you missed.

The problem is...........the doctors told Jesse that Brock was poisoned by Lily Of The Valley and not ricin when it was all over and done with and the kid was out of danger. Jesse was at the cop shop answering questions about why he had told the docs it might be ricin, an illegal substance.

Now, the question that stumps me is how did Walt get the Lily Of The Valley concoction into Brock whom he had only seen the night before from Jesse’s front porchthey night before.

he poisoned that kid.

I think he used that flower in the pot by his pool to make that kid sick enough to get Jesse to think he had been poisoned by the Ricin right?

Stir enough half-truths into the pot and eventually you’re going to imagine a whole truth.

‘A wife can voluntarily testify against her husband, but she cannot be forced to”

I am not an attorney but I thought spousal privilege applies to EITHER one of the two and could be invoked by either one or both.

That makes sense.

I'm feeling like I need to rewatch the end of season 4.

“Walt, through his deeds has become totally evil and beyond redemption”

The $64,000 question:

What will be Walt’s earthly fate? The drug trade rarely ends well for those involved, and Walt pretty much is primed up to get gunned down or behind bars. Even the best can survive only so long.

I do believe that a wife is able to testify against her husband.

The wife however, cannot be ‘compelled’ to testify against her husband.

My guesses in order of likelyhood

1. Killed by Jesse.
2. Killed by Hank
3. Killed by Lydia/Todd/the rest of that gang
3.5 The Mexican Cartel gets him
4. Arrested by DEA
5. Cancer takes him
6. He survives, broke and alone.
