Any large object moving towards the inner Solar System would be one of the brightest objects in the night sky. It would mess up the orbits of the other planets and asteroids that astronomers carefully observe every night.
There are millions of amateur astronomers taking high quality images of the night sky. If something was out there, theyd see it.

All the evidence that no large periodic object exists can be found in the stable orbits of the planets today. If some large object were passing through the inner solar system every several million years, the orbits of the planets would be wildly erratic today and life likely wouldn’t exist on earth.

I WANT PLUTO BACK !!!
Face it, Pluto blew it big time, If he had spoken up just once like Goofy did, he would still be a planet.

Thanks BenLurkin. Any trans-Neptunian planets must be moving either in retrograde, or have orbits not in what we consider the ecliptic.
