Maybe we need to start shaming the jackass voters who keep re-electing the McCains, Ghrahams, Boehners, McConnells, etc.

Might not hurt to seek, find & support a candidate who will talk over the Dems and the MSM at every opportunity. The GOP seems perfectly happy to allow the Dems and the MSM to define the contrast between the parties. We need a candidate who can articulate a solid, simple case for conservatism — if need be, ignoring the gotcha-questions from the biased MSM or Dem Debate shysters and just making the case.

But that candidate just doesn’t seem to exist and the GOP keeps pushing a “Me-Too” candidate. I don’t know how to get around that without a “third-party-that-aims-to-REPLACE-the-GOP” political party. Got to start somewhere...

I was not finger pointing or asserting that YOU are bitching about it. So cool down, chill out and go open a brew.

So, you've been duped? We all have.

This struggle is not just about you, it is about us. I too have never missed an opportunity to vote absentee ballot as I reside outside the US of A. I too defend American interests overseas.

I will admit though, I have never made a major campaign donation, minor, modest stuff yes, major? Never.

WE are in the minority. We voted against Hussein. WE want America to get back on track but first and foremost, WE have to agree in order to forge a plan.

Cool off.

Okay, so what is the plan? Sorry but I doubt that I will cool down anytime soon. Too much is at stake. Never said it was about me or you but it IS about our country, which is disintegrating before our very eyes. We’ve made great come backs before as a nation, but can we overcome the damage that Obama is inflicting? This is the gist of my argument, “We put people like the Republicans in office to act as a barrier to Obama and his evil policies. They let us down every time.” I’ve watched this for too long. Does it make me angry? Yes it does but passion is a great motivator. Maybe it would be good if some of my “anger” would rub off on the Republicans. Maybe it would put some starch in them.

Amen to that. I noticed that Ted Cruz did a pretty good job of it with David Gregory on Sunday. He didn’t back down. Kept the argument on the facts and Harry Reid. He “bitch-slapped” David Gregory until I almost felt sorry for him. Almost.

The Plan is to start voting OUT Conservative candidates who can't perform and replacing them with ones who can. If that means the demise of the GOP then so be it.

Any representative party that no longer can represent, will fade away. Are the Tea Party folks, the next Conservative evolutionary stage? I am not sure and I do not think so

On the one hand we need some sort of buffer that can block RAT strategies but on the other, the US government was designed for compromises in that oft-quoted “Checks & Balances” system.

It is incumbent upon us to begin identifying and voting in those individuals who can affect change in America but it is a process.

In my view this is probably the main path: putting solid, new individuals into office who can hopefully begin to turn the tide.

Sarah Palin is such a type but she has already been painted a nutcase by the media and Hollywood.

As they've done with any potential leader that was coming down the pike. They developed an Immune Response after their shock and horror that somehow Reagan was able to get by them.

“... I thought that anyone in their right mind would show up to vote against Obama. Boy was I wrong.”

That sums it up nicely. I thought the same thing, not quite understanding what Rush was meaning when he said voters have to vote FOR someone, not just AGAINST Obama.

Conservatives feel they don’t have a voice. And the Republican party seems to misunderstand at best, and are really closet liberals at worst.

Rand Paul comes close, and Cruz is right on, but both seem a lone voice, hell are vilified from the other Republicans.

Time to cut bait.
