I sure can’t tell the difference...As far as I’m concerned Pelosi never left the Speaker role.

Sounds like they've got new software for the Diebold vote counting machines and they've got to sell a "cover reality" before pulling their stunt in 2014.

People are pissed.

B.S. Obamacare will be in total chaos long before the elections.

Ya, the liberals can be crowing now, but the election is 13 months from now.

And, the turnout among low information liberal types is lower in mid term elections.

And, the Democrats are defending many more Senate seats in ‘14 thant the GOP is.

Lots can happen between now and November 2014 to influence the elections held then.

There is a long way to go until the 2014 elections, and an infinite number of ways for Obama to alienate the electorate.

Next year’s midterm elections for Congress are now a tossup between the Republicans and the Democrats,

Just MORE hyperbole and SPIN.

By the time most folks get their Obamacare insurance bills and see the UNBELIEVABLE DEDUCTABLES attached to their coverage the Democrats will be lucky to get 10% of the vote.

Using that logic they would have never re-elected Obama. Given the MSM propaganda machine and an ignorant voter base I see nothing good on the horizon.

Yes, the GOP-e will lose the House, we just have to make sure it is to The Tea Party and the Forgotten Man.

The truth is, if we lose the House in 2014, there is no longer an America left.

It will have to be re-established by force, or we will have a new Dark Age.

A Democrat House, Senate and Presidency will ensure no political opposition will exist by 2016.

Yes, it is that bad right now.

Even if so, a year from now this will be forgotten and the continuing disaster known as Obamacare will have most pissed off . .the economy will not have improved and who knows how many other scandals will turn off the so called “moderates”

Eventually TSHF . . . these policies are doomed to failure

If the elections were held today, maybe. But the elections aren’t being held today.

13 months to go to the elections. LoL. It is equivalent to when bookies suckered the Vegas gamblers having the Denver Bronco line of giving 28 pts to Jack Jaguars. Trolling the fools.

The Jaguars easily covered the line.

Yeah. If the election were held today.

It makes me think of Secretariat. With the exception of the last race, the horse was behind for most of the race. So the argument could be made that the horse would lose, right up to the front stretch.

These kinds of predictions crack me up. There is so much butthurt coming the country’s way in the next year. And it is almost certainly going to be blamed on the lame duck and his party.

They’re gonna need more cowbell in order to do so!

That’s not even enough. They are going to have to fully explore the space!

I’ve talked to a lot of lefties that don’t like Obama at all, but so dispized Romney that obama could have been proven to be satan himself and they still would have voted for him. And I’m not using hyperbole. I’m dead serious.

If the Tea Party stays home, the scenario is entirely possible.

With conservative support, the way the districts are set up should help retain control of the House.

Being told to repeatedly GFY by the Republican Party, though, might keep some conservatives home.

Michael Barone and Charlie Cook both say that there are only ten seats up for grabs.

In the aftermath of the '95 shutdown, which conventional wisdom predicted would result in disaster for the Republicans, the Republicans only lost a handful of seats (under 10, if memory serves) and picked up a couple in the Senate. This was despite the fact that we had picked up dozens of seats in '94, many in deep blue districts.

The effect of the shutdown will only be visible with a microscope, and could go either way. The effect of the behavior of the Establishment Republicans, however, may be significant, in particular to certain incumbent Senators.
