What these leaders did not only violates federal law, but breaches everything the Boy Scouts teach about Outdoor Ethics and Leave No Trace.

Well said, Scoutmaster! Exactly right.

Don’t you know that good intentions don’t count? Especially when you’re a pushover for the feds who want their arrest count to go up? Nothing like convicting an innocent person to make the feds feel happy with their performance.

Wanna bet if one of America’s Specially Privileged Victim Groups had assaulted a White Christian there would be no arrest?

“The Boy Scouts needs to fade into obscurity and be replaced with a new Christian based group.”

“Probably Democrats, AND homos.”

Excellent analysis. Even if untrue, it seems right.

this is a trumped piece of garbage to impugn the Scouts and everybody should know it

I don't know it, and that 250 lb. fat porker had to put all his weight into pushing it over.........

As a scout leader, he's a disgrace. What's his next outing for the kids, a trip to the Redwood National park to cut down a 300 year old giant redwood just so he can giggle again and yell timber!?

The least the dumb hillbilly could have done was man up instead of concocting that dumbass excuse about protecting some family against that rock falling on them.......Sheesh!

The unintended consequence of the internet and youtube is that it provides a global stage for morons like this guy to prove just how stupid they are.......I've got a feeling the BSA organization might have something to say about this as well.

Two things.

The Leaning Tower has been propped up by human intervention.

You took by comment out of context.

Actually, the Leaning Tower was destined to fall before many more years. Extensive work was done rebuild the area around the base in order to stabilize it.

From Wikipedia:

On January 7, 1990, after over two decades of stabilisation studies, and spurred by the abrupt collapse of the Civic Tower of Pavia in 1989, the tower was closed to the public.

[...] The final solution to prevent the collapse of the tower was to slightly straighten the tower to a safer angle, by removing 38 cubic metres (1,342 cubic feet) of soil from underneath the raised end.

[...] After a decade of corrective reconstruction and stabilization efforts, the tower was reopened to the public on December 15, 2001, and was declared stable for at least another 300 years.[20]

In May 2008, after the removal of another 70 metric tons (77 short tons) of ground, engineers announced that the Tower had been stabilized such that it had stopped moving for the first time in its history. They stated it would be stable for at least 200 years.

I get a kick out of the fact that the first effort pronounced the tower stable for 300 years but after the second effort the time was reduced to 200 years.

And what’s with the guy in the PINK sneakers doing a Happy Dance in the background? Vandals, pure and simple.

I really don't think it is possible to impugn the Scouts any more than what they have already done to themselves.

IMHO. BSA has served its noble mission, now it should just go away and die.
