Never, never, EVER buy any foodstuff made in China. They are the worst food adulterers going. I don’t care if it is dog food, cat food Chinese noodles for human consumption. NEVER!

I've been feeding my dog the Hill's Science Diet Jerky Treats, both chicken and beef.

Also, we use no dishes made in China.
Lead poisoning can occur when food or drink is consumed from incorrectly fired china and pottery.

know what is going into them, at least after I buy the chicken.”
You might have to rethink this now that our chicken is going to go from U.S. processors to China before it comes to the grocery store near you.

I am positive I lost a dog to this. It was terrible. She was fine one and then 12 hours later, she was gone.

Strictly FYI:
The Chicken Jerky Treats I have been purchasing have been exclusively at Costco under the Kingdom Pets Label
www.thekingdompets.com
Also, for those that don't know, baked Salmon skin is a very good treat. Just be sure to read up on why raw salmon is deadly to dogs and ensure it's cooked.
While I plan on trying to make my own treats eventually, I've been lucky enough to never have purchased any of the recalled treats.
I'm not going to delve into the 'made in china' vs. elsewhere other than to say you can't even trust the 'organic' label in some cases. At least Kingdom Pets is obtuse about their regular product testing (see link on their site above).

I've said before and I'll say it again. It would be more humane to drop your dog off at a cop shop for target practice than feed them anything from China.

And that is exactly why our poochies only eat the special dry and wet food the Vet prescribed..WD and ID wet food, for dogs with sensitive tummies..that is what our boys eat and they love it..made in the USA
