Man, do I love that fun infomercial for three hours every day. The one for Rush's book.

I’m happy for you. I am. But that’s not what this thread is about.

The thread is about having to hear about it for 50% of his airtime each day, or turning over to Wilkow Majority on XM. Probably a great financial week for Rush and a great ratings week for Wilkow.

With the country circling the drain, I find myself listening to the Margaritaville channel on XMSirius a lot....

Hasn’t Limbaugh always been an infomercial for Limbaugh? It works for him. He even convinced people he’s conservative.

Pithy. Wrong. Off base, but pithy. But do splain yourself about the "conservative" comment. That's borderline troll…so spill it…..

The major problem with the way Rush is doing it is the fact he is so toxic - notably with teachers, liberal parents, dems in general.

Yeah, maybe he should be more in the "middle" -- you know, like McCain and Romney. Or Christie.

Yeah, that's it, compromise with our benevolent esteemed dem opponents, stop the name-calling, don't be so anti-abortion, quit admiring those old white slave-owners that wrote the Constitution, support Obamacare (the 'law of the land'), reach out to the other side -- just like the dems do, including those lib teachers, lib parents, Nancy Pelosi, Dingy Harry Reid, Obama, etc etc.

And while you're at it double down on your DNC contributions.

How dare one think that a radio show would be better if perhaps there was less of something on it. You might as well be shrieking for Marxism.

Obviously.

that isn't what I was saying at all -- if you could have delayed your knee-jerk reaction and thought about it before answering.

The problem is Rush and the demonization of him wherever there are dems, which automatically limits the effectiveness of this project. I didn't say that demonization was warranted and no one expects him to compromise his beliefs, but if he had been a little more subtle and less in the public's face the project might have been more effective.

The art of persuasion is first and foremost figuring out the path of least resistance to your listener's heart. Rush's pic on the cover of a book and himself as the main character makes it all that much more difficult. I am not saying that is right, I am saying that it the way it is. There is a big difference between the two.

Right on. Our irritated FRiends should take comfort
in the fact that the libbies are even more ticked off
than they are. The conservative the libs most
love to hate is practicing extreme capitalism while
deprograming a whole bunch of young “minds full
of mush”.

Are you unfamiliar with how message boards work? If you want to address only one person, use the “private” function.

Otherwise dude….all is fair…..grow up and learn it.

You’re not looking at this in the proper manner. The average age of talk radio listeners is high and becoming higher every year. This new book represents a chance to positively effect young people. Freepers are also generally older and take for granted that US history is being taught to young people in the same manner it was to them as children.

Outside of the Tea Party and and rush and maybe Glen Beck the USA and would would be lost.

I wish he would talk about...
The Republican Party made an agreement 30 years ago with the Democrat Party NOT to ensure voting integrity and NOT to pursue suspected vote fraud.

In fact, legally the GOP cannot ensure voting integrity, nor can it prevent vote fraud.

Here’s the astounding reason, which is kept from the American people...

Seems the rats can cheat but the right can’t.

Dittos! I see it that way, too. So I won’t listen to the show today, but I am happy to hear such a book, especially from Rush, has been produced and is well received.

The thing that really needs doing is the abolition of government schrooling.

It’s been less than 100 years since the last county in the U.S. succumbed to compulsory schooling.

I’m against private schools, too.

School is a hoax.

Most parents could homeschool, but the State rips them off so many different ways that both parents have to work. The income tax is, for most people, less than half of the ripping off the government does. Regulations and fiat money account for much more than people realize.

I’ve been a Rush listener since he began and was considering buying the book as well, but I’m sick of hearing about it, so I will not buy the book. I’ll spend the disposable income on something else. The Great OZ has spoken.

Hi Rush,

I know you are rearing this thread.

As far as I’m concerned it’s your show and I can turn it off.

No matter what it is amazing that a deaf man is number one on radio.

Can I have a free iPad?

Barnes & Noble promoted the book on Facebook. The liberal reactions were hilarious.
