When liberal politics appear in movies, it annoys me, and I no longer enjoy the film. I do not watch films that I don’t enjoy,
and Bryan and I have walked out of many films with a liberal agendum. We wouldn’t waste a Netflix rental on such tripe.

Of course, liberal propaganda does not sway me. I’m 67 years old, and I have heard it all and judged it to be nonsense.

Thank you for the Avatar boost. Please forgive me if I ignore it.

We loved that movie.

We saw Re-Animator and Beyond Re-Animator. Jeffrey Combs was brilliant in both of them, and we sought out his movies after watching R-A1.

Yeah, We’re camp fans. Fido, Return of the Living Dead, Shawn of the Dead, Zombie Strippers, etc.

A friend of mine recommended Dances with wolves saying how great it was. He went on and on about how it had a great story, etc... took the wife the next weekend and could not wait for it to end. 3 hours of torture.

44. I don’t think some of them actually qualify as sic-fi, just because they are set in the future. And honestly Superman II?! oy.

LOL. But I love cheesy grade Z flicks, so I am at least happy I haven’t seen all of them!

I hope that you never saw “The Postman” in that case!

Not to forget “Waterworld.”

Guilty of seeing both. postman was tolerable, not so much Waterworld.

Fantastic Voyage?

The science was great, but to a 14 year old boy the most memorable part was Rachael Welch in that outfit.

These things happen. ;-)

I agree with your assessment. Sorry you had to see them.

I also got 39. ‘Children of Men’ was awful, by the way.

I scored 46, but some of the titles are hardly must-see. I mean, come on, “Sphere”? Really? But not “The Day the Earth Stood Still”.

Avatar is only watchable for special effects. The plot is predictable and banal.
