Back in the day I used to listen to KFI from El Paso TX, In the daytime!
I was using an amateur radio to receive the signal.
Then some lousy Mexican station popped up on 640 :-(
I made a rotatable loaded dipole and after that I could still hear it OK if I rotated it to null the Mex station.
Nowadays you can listen to most good AM stations on the internet.
Well I hope he stays on our local am station, or else I won’t hear him out here. Only KFI reaches this far.
I thought Rush was already on 910.
Both LA stations are 50kW, so basically a wash. But in SF he is dropping down from a 20kW station to just a 5kW station.
Here in Pittsburgh I do get a vibe that 104.7 is going to be dropping talk after the first of the year. The morning guy who replaced Quinn and Rose is a small market talent from their Wheeling, WV station. And they’ve added evening sports talk back to their lineup.
That’s what I heard. Hannity gone..format change first week in January. Unreliable dource though...had said Q&R were out in January this year.
If WPGB starts all Christmas music in the last week of the year...it’s a format change.
I’d listen to Dennis Miller if I could find him on a station that didn’t block listening on line.
Hannity seems to be in voluntary compliance with the fairness act already. Half of his show is liberals now, I can’t stand listening to “the most connected man in Washington” anymore I think he is Jay Carneys coach.
