Captured by Saudi vet experts
Police gave no explanation as to how the snake reached the toilet in the Western Saudi town of Madinah or where it came from, as anacondas which are normally non-venomous snakes are found in tropical South America.
One expert said the reptile was so big that it could swallow a baby.
These types of snakes can swallow a baby in case they are very hungry and it could be too difficult to control them if they are set loose, Sada newspaper said, quoting Hassam Al Malki, an expert at the Riyadh-based Prince Sultan Military Health Centre.
He said the snake could have been brought by a Saudi from South America and locked her up in a cage at his house but that it might have managed to get out.
It could have crawled into that toilet to seek warmth in this cold weather as such snakes live in a warm environment, he said.
The paper did not mention the size of the snake, but anacondas can grow to sizes of six metres and exceed 150kg in weight.
It’s a spy from Israel!
It’s a reticulated python. Not an anaconda. It’s also not going to eat any baby.
Where to those retards in the media come up with this stuff?
It’s someones pet and it’s really not interested in harming anyone. It has more to fear from people than people have to fear from it.
Well then they wouldn’t have had to clean the cage, would they?
Anacondas and retics both are non venomous. They are both of the coluboid family of constrictor snakes. The retic in this story is about 12 feet long. Female retics can get up to 22 feet long.
They are giants but they can be quite placid and gentle. They usually don’t get aggressive unless some retard traps it with a capture pole.
People really need to learn about snakes and stop with the BS myths like what is in that article.
Shhhhhhhhhhhh!
Not to be nitpicky but doesn’t that look more like a reticulated python?
If it is, it had a lot less distance to travel to get there.
Thanks.
I thought anaconda was wrong.
Retics are genus Pythonidae, not Colubridae, which does contain a few venomous members, such as the Boomslang.
Oops, you’re correct. Being sick sucks. I can’t think straight.
The photos in the story aren’t the best but I think that is a morph retic too. Maybe a platty or a tiger. Can’t be sure though.
“...They usually dont get aggressive unless some retard traps it with a capture pole....”
Or some other retard takes a dump on it while it’s trying to snooze in the porcelain goddess...(hate it when that happens...)
... and then FLUSHES....
Clearly, it’s dem JOOOOOOOS again!!!
They’re EVERYWHERE!
But think about it for a moment... Nothing says “Hey! We Stopped By, But You Weren’t Here, and Yer Voicemail Wasn’t Working!” better than a python in yer Loo!!!
Heheh!! (Clearly, I crack myself up...)
Dude, like I saw them at the Filmore... they rocked!
Granite Burmese Python
Common Boa
Brazilian Rainbow Boa
Oh, no!
You’re sick?
I really hope you feel better soon.
:(
LOL
[they were dancing the black mamba backstage, I heard]
Thanks! I’ll be fine. Just sinuses or something.
Sinuses can be miserable!
Are those your sneks?
The Burm, especially, is gorgeous!
LOLOL
Burm isn’t the others are. I’ve got 37 total.
