We are retired and live in Maryland. Every year we take 4 or 5 vacations, nearly all of which are camping trips (which is why we can afford it).
Just about every year, one of those trips is to NYS, which we just love. This year, as we were planning our trips, I called the NYS tourist board to let the know that we would not be visiting this year, since Cuomo said that conservatives are not welcome in NY.
As for NYC, I have been avoiding it like the plague for several years. Loud, dirty, noisy, and rude. No, thanks.

Repeating a previous reply NY schools should be closed on 9/11 as a reminder of what the Muslims did to NYC!
My daughter teaches 3rd grade. She usually has a couple Muslim kids in class every year. Ramadan is really hard on them because they can’t eat any grub during daytime hours. She says the kids are in weak condition by afternoon.
