WorldNet Daily editor Joseph Farah has claimed numerous times that President Obama was not born in the US, even though Obama has released both his short-form and long-form birth certificates, proving he was born in Hawaii.
Farah is now strongly supporting Canadian-born Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) for president.
While that might sound hypocritical to most, Farah claims he can do so because the so-called “media elite” ignored his "birther" theory about Obama.
In a recent op-ed, Farah praised sen. Cruz for releasing his birth certificate, while attacking Obama for a "lack of transparency and thin paper trail."
Farah writes:
With all this heavy-duty investigative journalism and newfound faux enthusiasm for the Constitution suddenly on display, it’s obvious the No. 1 fear among the elite media is that Ted Cruz might actually run for president.
They fear him not because he was born in Canada. They fear him not because of any concern for the U.S. Constitution. I will even be more generous to the Cruz smear machine than it was to me when I questioned Obama’s eligibility by rejecting the notion it is because the senator from Texas is Hispanic. 3) Both the above say Ubama is ineligible.
Both of Cruz’ parents were US citizens, and they were both of age.

I might support Cruz even if he wasn’t a natural born citizen because he’s a better citizen than most and because liberals need to learn a lesson about being careful what they wish for.
His father was not a US citizen, that, makes all the difference.
The voters, the press and the political establishment, in a purely democratic fashion, have decided that a president doesn’t have to be a natural born citizen or even a citizen for that matter. Given the current state of affairs, I fully support Ted Cruz for president.
You were a hell of a lot more polite about Obama’s lineage than I would be - about his mother (there’s a real treat), his father AND where he was actually born. Fake PDF’d BCs aside, there is a hell of a lot of information Obama’s side refuses to reveal. Cruz came by his lineage honestly. No one on Obama’s side can conclusively prove his lineage (or will show what it actually is).
Bathhouse Barry released poor forgeries. But I believe it was not to conceal a foreign birth but the identity of his real father, who in all probability is the card carrying Communist pedophile drug dealer, Frank Marshall Davis.

I've struggled with the NBC question regarding a Ted Cruz presidency, but in the end I've concluded that the United States as founded and organized by the Framers, has largely been overthrown, and that what's most important at this point in our history, is that we elect leaders who are bound and determined to restore that which has been lost.
Our first (and greatest) President wasn't a natural born citizen of the United States, but he fought to create this country, and bore allegiance to no other. I believe that a President Cruz would be as resolute and loyal to our people in recreating the America our forefathers put here.

I agree with you. Obama’s real father was Frank Marshall Davis and all of the mystery was created to hide that fact. The Kenyan was a convenient way to legitimize Barry’s birth. He was born in Hawaii.
