“They hate fags, our troops, who else and what else?”

Catholics and Jews. They shouldn’t be able to use the name ‘Baptist.’

Oh my God.

I am old enough to remember the horror of Jonestown and the carnage done by a group claiming to love Jesus, to love God, to be bearers of the Word.

It sickened me then and it sickens me now. It sickens me when groups use His name to commit atrocities, foment hate, murder and destroy, subjugate and intimidate, soil the hard work that faithful believers spent sweat and blood and tears to build bridges and trust with those not aware of His love.

Jim Jones was evil. He was a demon. His corrupting song of salvation destroyed and did not build the castle of light.

The hate and evil that fills this world has got to be a great sorrow for the Creator. His children are proving to be unworthy of His love. This has to stop. This kind of selfdestruction of His work must end.

The smoke and flame would be noxious, I am sure.

I still have no idea why it is important for the world to know of his orientation. Given the probability of blood being minorly spilled, perhaps the opposing players should know...

They were Al Gore supporters at one time.

And old red diaper Freddy Phelps won numerous awards for "tolerance" from leftist so-called "civil rights" organizations such as the NAACP and other racist outfits. He moved to Topeka so he could be on totally board with the Warren/Marshall court's extreme overreach in Brown v. Board of Education. The DemonRATS of Westboro are, not surprisingly, also pro-union. Thugs supporting thugs...so typical of liberals.

The Missouri community has shown overwhelming support for Michael Sam since the Tigers’ football star announced that he was gay earlier this month.

So if I come out and announce that my preferred method of sex is with a women (and I am a man) can I get support from the community? But why should I? More to the point why should this this guy? So he chooses to have pervert sex. This is something a community should support??

Really. I find it odd that so many people from all over the political spectrum have a keen interest in the sex lives of others. I also find it odd that so many people feel the need to make public their sexual practices.

How anyone has sex is not high on my list of things I need to know. I have enough trouble minding my own business without minding everyone elses. And, I really do NOT care what positions people use and where they put what and how often.

Keep your bedroom activities to yourselves, people.
(not directed at anyone in particular. Just venting)

I was working for one of our foreign affairs agencies when that hit. Guayana was and is the worst posting in the Western Hemisphere. The aftermath of Jonestown was absolutely heartbreaking, and reverberated for months. As someone once told me, "You don't have to be particularly religious to believe there's something evil out there. And it wants our children." It goes by many names, and in many guises. Its greatest power is in making you believe it simply doesn't exist. "

"Pleased to meet you.
Hope you guessed my name.
But, what's troubling you is the nature of my game..."

LOL. I'm sure you don't. " "I just don't support fornication and the adulterization of marriage. Do you?" Well as a single female with a long time boyfriend who happens to have been married before, I doubt you would agree with what I have to say on that.

Having been married before myself and marrying a woman who was married before, you might be surprised.

Both of us didn't start dating until our divorces were finalized. In fact we didn't even know each other then. I had been in a Divorce Recovery Group which counseled not to begin a relationship until as much as possible with the old was dealt with.

Since we both had custodies of our children, we abstained from for clean consciouses and for their sakes. And we attribute a long second marriage (19 years) ,outlasting both the prior ones, do to this good counsel taken.

Along the way, we've seen many other second marriages fail precisely because of not seeking or taking wise counsel. The path of fornication and adultery is strewn with the wreckage of failed marriages and busted relationships. All one has to do is to watch "Cops" or any police show to see the domestic violence and murder inherent in allowing these things into ones lives.

And here these students want to celebrate fornication and adultery?? God help them!

I ask every day that Jesus walks with me, shields me and carries me if He must. I know there is darkness all around and it is faith in Him that keeps me sane and keeps me from actively seeking to destroy by violence those things which I believe are evil influences upon my loved ones. If not for Him, I shudder to think what I would have done and where I would be.

They were celebrating this athlete’s homosexuality in that arena.

When he walked onto the court, the crowd yelled and screamed and clapped their approval.

The news person covering it on the TV station I was watching said that the crowd were either stating or had signs or shirts that said “we are all homosexuals”

It's very sick how the government and media and the dems and the liberals have indoctrinated the public to accept this despicable filthy sin as “normal” and acceptable.

At that time, Jim Jones was not someone who I had any idea about. It wasn’t in my sphere of interest. Not until the airstrip shootings and the subsequent entering of the compounds by the authorities.

Did it affect his performance? How many field goals did he score at the basketball game?

They are Democrat lawyer activists first. Their church is largely comprised of family members. They are/were public friends of Al Gore and Fred ran several times for office as a Democrat.

Party affiliation is never mentioned in Westboro cult stories.

They serve the media’s ploy of demonizing those who do not celebrate homosexuality and those who profess to be “Christian”.

Westboro hated Bush and the war in Iraq as much as Cindy Sheehan, Amy Goodman, and other looney lefties.

I meant people who interacted with him on a regular basis.

He was weird from the get-go. None of the kids he went to school with wanted to hang around him.

(*Chuckle* I just pictured Powers Boothe carrying the Capuchin monkey he was trying to sell in the movie.)
