Calvin and Hobbes was excellent. Gold standard for me.

Never been a big Doonesbury fan.

Best: BC (by the late, great Johnny Hart), Calvin & Hobbes, Tumbleweeds.

Worst: Zippy the Pinhead, Herman

Special Mention-Worst: DOONESBURY

Extra-Special Mention- Worst: THIS MODERN WORLD

These last two are drawn by nothing less than liberal traitors.

Love Dilbert, Speed Bump, Free Range, Bizarro, Non Sequitur, and Rhymes with Orange.

Hate Marmaduke; waay too stupid.

Grin & Bear It and Bloom County are (or were) the best topical cartoons.

Jeff MacNelly and Michael Ramirez the best editorial cartoons.

Calvin & Hobbes besides being very funny is also able to slip in philosophical questions. Arlo & Janis, The Grizzwells and The Born Loser are also all funny cartoons.
