PEANUTS was my young life. But FAR SIDE perfected the form and destroyed it.

The best: Hagar the Horrible and Zits. The worst: Doonesbury (liberal hack crap).

Calvin and Hobbes was excellent. Gold standard for me.
Never been a big Doonesbury fan.

Special Mention-Worst: DOONESBURY
Extra-Special Mention- Worst: THIS MODERN WORLD
These last two are drawn by nothing less than liberal traitors.

Far Side was the best. It’s not even close for second.

Grin & Bear It and Bloom County are (or were) the best topical cartoons.
Jeff MacNelly and Michael Ramirez the best editorial cartoons.
Calvin & Hobbes besides being very funny is also able to slip in philosophical questions. Arlo & Janis, The Grizzwells and The Born Loser are also all funny cartoons.
