In several threads on FR this past week, as well as in the conservative media for a long time now, I have been amazed at the number of avowed conservatives who still talk about Obama as if he is merely incompetent, rather than purposefully diabolical in his destructive domestic and foreign policies.
This Sunday is admittedly a little long in the tooth for a really robust weekend vanity post before the news cycle hits again in the AM, but I suppose it is not altogether too late to start a discussion by asking the obvious: how can any Freeper in their right mind still cling to the belief, at this stage, that Obama is not destroying this nation deliberately and by design?
I don’t think it is The Won’s intention to destroy. He is nothing more than a teleprompter reader.
But it is without a doubt someone’s intention to destroy. I just can’t figure out who.
It’s more like diabolical, with the false front of being incompetent.
For example, think of Kaiser Sosay (sp?) in The Usual Suspects, or a reverse Chauncey Gardner in Being There.

The unwillingness to call evil by its real name is a sign of the absence of courage.
Why do you think there are so many photos of Cardinal Timothy Dolan laughing his head off with Obama? Why do almost all American bishops insist that Communion should be given to pro-abortion politicians.
It takes infinitely more courage to say: Every person around Barack Obama is a Red Diaper Baby. Obama’s whole adult life has been financed by money from radical Islamists and Communists. Obama has sealed all his records, and has presented a crudely forged “birth certificate” to the public...
than it takes to say: “President Obama is a nice guy, but he’s just in over his head.”
And I reraise you with the American low-information voter.
He is both. His incompetence is a blessing.
Understanding this is not hard.
It explains the reason why so many continue to lecture that all we have to do to save the Republic is to elect more Republicans, regardless if they are Establishment Ruling Class or Conservatives - as if the coup that happened right in front of our faces never really happened.
It’s called NORMALCY BIAS - where people absolutely REFUSE to allow themselves to consider the truth - because it’s too horrible and troublesome to think about.
So its easier to declare Obama an incompetent rather than a diabolical wrecking ball with visions of genocide dancing in his head.

I partially agree. I think it IS his intention, but that he’s too dumb to be anything more than a tool in the hands of his real masters who guide him behind the scenes. And that “who?” is rife with unpleasant possibilities - Communist, Islamist, globalist - that go all the way to the all the way to the top of the food chain, I’m afraid.
The dilemma offered is false.
Obama is a pawn in a much larger intellectual culture deeply cynical about American ideals.
Jaded billionaires, ideological journalists , Hollywood hatists, academic reactionaries, and entrenched federal interests combine to orchestrate a political facade.
Obama is largely expended by this elite. Hillary is the heir.
Focusing on Obama is part of their desired evasion.
He’s not the least bit incompetent.
He’s very competently executing his plan of reducing America to the status of a totally ordinary country, where wealth isn’t created, it’s simply reshuffled from one group to another. And where you have to be part of a specially-protected nomenklatura to get anything done.
And there are zampolits everywhere, making sure that the masses all properly mouth the proper shibboleths that buttress a Permanent Establishment Class.
He is neither evil nor incompetent. He is just a shell into which a gullible American public poured in everything they wanted to make themselves feel better.
If anything, I think the man stands in amazement of how easy this has all been and wonders if he really had the time to think about it, to think about what to be other than just the tool he is, what would it have been.

So, what shall we do?
The problem has a solution.
Obama is not really the problem.
We the people, the keepers of the flame so to speak, are the problem.
