A woman arrested on driver's license offenses now faces felony charges, with Kingsport police saying she introduced into jail some atypical contraband: a stolen and loaded .22-caliber mini-revolver, via an orifice of her body.

This smells fishy to me...
This story smells “fishy”.
All right, all right... I’ll settle for second fiddle.
Joe... you owe me a six pack!
Those North American Arms pistols are modern derringers. A .22 magnum round even out of a short barrel is nothing to sneeze at! And those are small enough that a Lady can do concealed carry comfortably ... without resorting to extremes. Ahem
Isn’t there an FR section about guns, “The Bang List?” /S
He couldn’t find a Smith and Wesson 36 Lady Smith...
Snort! That’s a rim(fire)shot right there! :)
Someone said Pea shooter and she thought it meant pee shooter.
That’s a gun? No wonder it didn’t buzz . . . I thought the batteries were dead. Good thing I didn’t pull on the thingmahjig . . .
I would not have liked to be the poor cop that said, “Gee, I wonder what’s up in here?”
Hoped the sprayed her with Bactine.
A lot of that infernal disease going around lately.
Inoculation against it is free, but fewer & fewer are choosing to visit The Physician to obtain it.
>>> I would not have liked to be the poor cop that said, Gee, I wonder whats up in here?
*snort*
I’d have screamed “Do-over!” until I won the rock-paper-scissors match, I tellya.
I’m still trying to figure out WHY in the hell anyone even THOUGHT to look up in there...
And in all serious, this kid has some issues, for sure. She’s got multiple run-ins with the law, probably since she was a youngster (at least that what it seems). Somewhere along the course of her life, she went bad.
Even though we’ve been joking about it (it’s unavoidable given the nature of the article)... that’s someone’s kid, someone’s baby girl, gone bad. And breaking her parents’ hearts.
It is a shame, and as a parent myself, my heart goes out those parents. I thank God every day my kids never gave me ANY heartache and turned out as good as they did.
How many people could be spared a life of pain if we just learned how to interdict the moment when a kid is going off the rails, and turn them around before they take their life to hell...
The progressive school system has pretty much eliminated the role of the parents in any kind of disciplinary matter. They dole out condoms without parents knowledge, they frown upon the Bible in the classroom, often the school counsellor is more interested in digging up dirt on the parent’s than in dealing with junior’s discipline matters.
So much of the school’s involvement in the student is now in loco parenti, believing that the child is the property of the state.
It is a miracle anymore than any child can go through this evil system without being mentally maimed for life.
While I do believe you are correct re the school system, I think the parents are still the best first line of defense with their own children.
My own kids - I used to sit with them every night, go over their homework and lessons, and if I found something that I felt was disagreeable or factually wrong, I told them, and explained why - and also provided another source of information that backed up what I was saying.
And even though I sent my kids to Parochial school, there was STILL enough liberal/prog bullsh*t laced in some of the work.
We bring children into the world, and we should NEVER abdicate our own responsibilities in making them into good, decent, moral, intelligent Citizens.
“Der Staat” will ALWAYS be willing and ready to step and impose whatever lunacy they deem fit; but at the end of the day, it’s Dad and Mom who decide what the kids will learn by actively and forcefully intervening when it goes against our values.
Just my .02.
Depends upon whether she's wearing a skirt.
You would want a "contractor-grade" full body condom before going anywhere near her, I would guess.
It's not uncommon for the kind of women that police arrest to use their vaginas to stash drugs and other stuff.
Yeah, I guess I can understand that.
So, then they probably strip-searched her according to routine SOP, and found it?
In another article, a female corrections officer felt something hard there, and then she and a female cop did a cavity search.
