And I, you Gefn. But yesterday was just too much for me.

“Since Holly died I’ve been sleeping with my teddy bear, I can’t tell you how much I miss that fuzz ball. I can’t stand it most nights. I don’t mind being single. I just miss my kitty so much sometimes it’s horrible,”

Oh, you need another cat! And quickly! Find a six week old brother/sister Manx duo. You won’t regret it.

Humans with pets tend to wind up with micro-livestock associated with those pets when they culture the samples swabbed from their mouths. :’) Thanks Slings and Arrows.

I’m getting my apartment cleaned up and fixed up to bring in a new kitty.

New carpets, new paint, etc. it will be about July, but it’s all free work, so I’m not complaining. Landlord was waiting for the weather to warm up to do it.

I’m hesitant about the landlord putting in new Venetian blinds. The old ones are half off from the cat getting caught in them

Never known anyone to have a Manx kitty. They are tailless, right?

My cat seems to like to put its haunches in my face. Not the smellier region (thank goodness) but definitely the hindquarters.

Our bedroom has a door on it. In fact Bob the cat insists on sleeping in the basement with his cat box with that door closed. He likes to cuddle occasionally but is totally not interested in sleeping with anyone. Dogs have two barriers between them and us.

I’ve got cats. There is no “let.”

That is just too funny. My grandson rescued a kitty that was taken away from her mother long before she was weaned. Been five years now but she still jumps up on the bed, grabs a corner of the blanket in her mouth and then starts the same back and forth front paw activity as if she were nursing. She can keep it up for what seems like hours until it drives me crazy and off the bed she must go.

My cat used to climb up the California oak, across the garage roof to my window to be let in. How she knew to climb that tree to my window I'll never know. Plenty of room, she just curled up.

Yes. Sometimes called the “dog cat” because the males can be so dog-like in the way they want to follow you around and be involved in everything that’s going on. Pay close attention and communicate with them early on and and they can learn to be quite talkative too.

This winter there were a lot of three dog nights.

Coldest I recall in 30 some years.

I decided yesterday, my 16th anniversary on FR, that I’ve been getting into a rut so I’m leaving FR.

Is that your opus? Buried in a dog thread?
