Well, I will do it if no one else will. Beck is imploring us to drop the hate and anger.

First, I don't believe it was anger in my heart that made me want to rush to Bundy's side upon learning SWAT teams were terrorizing him and his family. I do believe it was love for my grandchildren and their posterity than made me consider putting my life on the line.

I do believe that nonviolence requires several things to work. Ghandi knew his "audience" was the folks back in England who would find violence against him and his abhorrent. MLK knew the Christians of America in the early 60s would see the tactics of the Bull Conners abhorrent. Certainly, my parents did. So AN HONEST MEDIA is the first requirement of non violent resistance. Second, an authority that will respond to the passions stirred by that honest media. Anybody wanna place their grandchildren's lives in the hands of this regime?

I don't know which media Beck thinks will fulfill the first requirement. I know this is what he is trying to do with The Blaze I I love him for it. I pray for his success daily. I doubt his effort has enough momentum to carry this freight. As to the second requirement, see above. Would you trust the folks in DC with your grandchildren?

Our Saviour asked us to "be wise as serpents and harmless as doves". He asked us to love our enemies. At the same time allowing murder and corruption to continue is "conspiring to commit murder and corruption".

If I could be convinced there was a chance for nonviolent resistance to prevent another Waco or Ruby Ridge I would be all for it. At the same time I will not see another Waco and do nothing.

Glenn, I really think you're a great leader and have a lot of great things to bring to today's discussions, and things to tell the public, that most of the LAME Stream Media will NOT touch.

BUT ..... there ARE other parts of the Bible you MUST consider.

Who was Jesus before He was Jesus? Read John 1:1-16.
Who was Melchizedek ? Read Hebrews 7.
How did Jesus, through His Holy Spiri,t handle Ananias and Sapphira; did He forgive and forget? Read Acts 5.
Did Jesus allow the woman taken in adultery to be stoned, or did he stop it? Read John 8.
Did Jesus "turn the other cheek" to the den of thieves in His Father's Temple? Read Matthew 21, Mark 11, and John 2.

When Jesus returns, the time of "turning the other cheek" will be over.
Take a look at just how long "the house of Israel" shall be burying the dead that Jesus, the LORD, the Holy One, will have killed. Read Ezekiel 39.

Are you beginning to understand?

I don’t totally agree with Beck—but I understand what he is talking about. He is talking about changing the hearts and minds of the people, first.....it is like William Wilberforce did to eliminate slavery in England, which took 20 years of hard work and educating the masses, and he is trying to affect “culture”—the ideology of the masses. How the masses perceive Reality.

It involves invading the media-—and taking over movie production, TV programming and the schools, returning to Classical Education and returning local control of schools to parents. It is about retaking Popular Culture.

The masses have been brainwashed and dumbed-down, since forever—in a very powerful “Edward Bernays” fashion.

That is why Beck is trying to set up a studio and create movies, that which affects the “emotions” and “thinking” of children and adults. You have to win the majority and people have been so corrupted by the lies and misinformation (White Noise) and lack of Classical ideology-—that they are ignorant and only react to ‘emotion’ which is extremely dangerous.

This is a powder-keg. The Framers of the Constitution were the most well-read, educated people (and brilliant), and what they did was NOT based on emotion, but on Reason, and debate of a decade, at least. They tried to reason with an insane King, even.

But, at its heart, was a collection of men who were the most brilliant and well-read in all of history. They were products of the Enlightenment (Reason—not emotions). Most Americans were very independent-minded, and had Common Sense (Virtue), since they would die, if they had none.

They hated “dependency”.....which is the opposite of the masses today, who are lazy and lack Virtue, and are ignorant, and have absolutely no commonsense.

That said, the key in “change” is “education”. Beck is right on that. You have to “win” the hearts of the masses, which is very tricky in today’s environment of Psychology/drugs. Armed resistance can be used against us, because of the Leftist total control of MSM, most Information. It is pretty absolute right now—more so than Goebbels’ Germany, because people in Germany KNEW they were lied to....most people in America “think” they hear the “truth” and are too lazy and distracted by entertainment to seek it.

Look how they destroyed Bundy in a matter of a day....and made him into something evil and radical in the minds of MOST people. Yes, the informed understand the issues, but the majority are useful idiots....have been trained in public schools to be such idiots.

Beck is about changing the minds of the masses; To create Virtue (because as Socrates stated there can be no Free Republic without Virtue.)

Beck is afraid that an armed rebellion will end up like a Waco and at this point, he is probably correct....it will NOT lead to a Revolution like at our Founding. The masses are too dumb and too immoral (lazy) and are controlled by the mass media which is controlled by our government.

We need to educate and take back the institutions and it will take time and hard work and real sacrifice. It took 100 years for the Left to entrench themselves...we can not undo this damage in a minute, because of the mindset in all the useful idiots and their control of information.

he went into one of these looney spells last year where he told his listeners if the government makes gun ownership illegal and comes to collect all the guns from your home ...let them have the guns, go to jail and call a lawyer...he said because the second amendment guarantees your right to have guns, people will eventually see you are right and everything will be ok ..

I always wonder how a guy like Beck that claims to be so brilliantly “self educated” supports the second amendment...yet says their is no reason to ever resist with anything other than chanting kumbaya and taking a walk with a bunch of other people.....that amendment didn’t say you have the right “to keep and bare pair of marching boots around in case the country is in trouble”

I don’t believe in starting or participating in any kind of violence either, but there is a time and a place to take a stand against tyranny ...there’s a difference between standing up and fighting back and instigating or participating in violence..... I’m not going down on my knees in some peace march with good old Glenn...and that goof tries to make himself out to be a Texan ..good lord

Beck as done some good things—The Blaze—a counter newsorganization is tops—His support of the Tea Party was welcome—and his set up of a new news cable network (needs to be out their more) All of this is good—BUT his endless piching of ghost written books and events is sounding worse than BOP (what is his next book? Killing Allan Cooms?). His Preachness gets under my skin as well. Heck, I know he’s a Mormon and all—and I don’t mind him piching his beliefs (as I don’t mind BOR talking about the Roman Catholic Faith he holds dear) BUt when he starts to get on his soap box pulpet its terrible. Leave to Preaching to Rev. Franklin Graham or Pope Francis—You are out of your pay grade in this.
