Jericho was rushed. Having been cancelled, they wrapped it up to quick to end it during that last season. Pathetic.

Kind of disturbing, but it makes sense based on the characters.

And based on the actors themselves.

For whatever reason I really liked that show. Other than on DVD where I know there’s an ending I haven’t watched a series since.

Deadwood I agree. All Swerigen said was...” We’ll speak no more of this Jimmy” or something like that, as he was cleaning up the blood. We were pissed

I liked it too. I was hoping another station would pick it up. Instead, they decided on the rushed ending.

Doggone but I liked Deadwood, I thought the writing was brilliant and not as different as how things were as described by my grandfather. He could, I might add, give Swearingen a run for his money...as long as it was out of the earshot a women. Swearing in front of a woman was never, ever done and doing so with other men around was pretty much assured a punch in the face.

But I digress. I thought season 4 had real possibilities in terms of story line and I only wish I had the talent to finish the story.

The funny part is I don’t even remember it as an “ending”. I thought they just ended the season... so I guess it was pathetic.

In the soprano’s it wasn’t Tony of his family....it was “us” who got killed

Doc’s praying over the preacher was incredibly moving. That and when he was dancing Jewel. Quite a show

Here is my favorite: “I Married Dora”. It’s only 24 seconds, watch how the series ends.

I didn't realize how brilliant it was until I started watching the first episodes again.

Elaine doesn't show up in the first episode of Seinfeld, and she is absent from the last scene.

The first observational humor in the first episode is about how a shirt's second button is poorly placed, which is also the last observational humor in the last episode.

And there are many other instances like this as well.

I appreciated that the less savory doings were offset by the acts of kindness. In addition to your examples I was always touched by Jane's care of the sick. Apparently this was true in life.

Not to mention the honor and loyalty. I would like to have Charlie Utter or Sol Star as a friend. Maybe Bullock but I expect he'd have given me a butt kicking or two....

I love the endings for Lost

I have a daughter who says that she is still mad at that show for that ending. I always thought that it was because it confirmed, what I had thought all along, that there were religious overtones to the show, and they had to meet up before they continued on to the great unknown. She hated it, I always felt it was just right. Hubby and I just binge watched Lost a few months ago; and, he was fine with the ending, too. So, I think the people who hated that ending, are probably people who don't like religion, or even a hint of it, especially Christianity.
