Mad Michelle -- More Than Fed Up With “Idiot” Prez
National Enquirer ^ | June 17, 2014 | National Enquirer Staff

A fed up Michelle Obama is outraged that her husband’s widely criticized prisoner exchange could wreck her political ambitions – and she’s blasted him as an “idiot,” say sources.

“Michelle was so furious about the public backlash that she sarcastically asked him, ‘Whose side are you on?’” revealed a Washington insider. “She not only believes he made a dumb decision but also thinks it will negatively affect her post-White House career.

“She’s contemplating a run for Senate in her home state of Illinois, but after the prisoner exchange, she said it looks like the only speeches she’ll be making now will be to people wondering how she stayed married to ‘That idiot.’”

The furor erupted after Obama authorized freeing five high-ranking Taliban terrorists for U.S. Army captive Bowe Bergdahl, whom some suspect of being a deserter.

Many congressmen shared the first lady’s outrage, but the president refused to acknowledge he made a mistake.

“I’m never surprised by controversies that are whipped up in Washington,” the commander in chief fired back at critics.

The political brawl comes at a terrible time for Michelle, who some see as the only potential candidate powerful enough to unseat Illinois Republican Sen. Mark Kirk.

But a political observer noted: “The vicious attack on the Bergdahl exchange could ruin any political hopes Mrs. Obama has – and it’s got her thinking maybe she should walk out on Barack even before he leaves office.”

The ENQUIRER has closely tracked the Obamas’ troubled 21-year marriage – and disclosed that Michelle has an explosive dossier on her husband’s alleged cheating that could be used in a divorce action.

Said the insider: “It’s just a matter of when she pulls the trigger.”

The National Enquirer very often has stories that sound ridiculous but turn out to be true.

The National Inquirer sank John Edwards, didn’t it?

Let me just say “Bruno Magli Shoes”, OJ trial, Enquirer was only publication or media source to investigate deeply enough to publish a picture of him wearing the “ugly a$$ shoes” he claimed he never owned. A bloody footprint of a Magli shoe, his size, was found at the scene of the crime, and others had seen him wearing them prior to the murders. Helped find him responsible for the murders at the civil trial.

She’s contemplating a run for Senate in her home state of Illinois

Well at least she's not going to carpet-bag like Hillary.

Mark Kirk's term is up 2016 so that would be the obvious target. I'm sure the Chicago Mob would get her over the top.

That would set her up for a run for POTUS after Hillary (or whichever Dem wins in 2016) leaves in 2024.

Okay..I will concede there are at least seven important issues that the Enquirer got right FIRST. Twenty years ago...not so much...that is why I do not read it. So on the points you made...you win.

However, there are so many articles that are impossible to believe...aliens, Sarah Palin affair, and smear tactics against good people for sensationalism...it sells papers.

I would however need confirmation from a source I thought reliable. I do agree that ‘truth is truth, even if comes from a donkey’...God has used donkeys to get his message out. So maybe The Enquirer is a better news tool than it used to be.

I mentioned The Enquirer just to say they are occasionally right.

I learned they were correct about Edwards here on F.R.

I have never read the paper and don’t plan to.

Actually though I don’t read it, the National Enquirer is gaining a reputation as having reputable reporters.

More than I can say for NYT or Post or Philly Enquirer/Intelligencer or , well you get my point.

I was glad to know that The Enquirer had gotten a lot of scandals right, that was something I had not kept track of, thanks.

Woodward and Bernstein was asked on the CBS Sunday Morning Show if anyone did old-fashioned investigative reporting. He sheepishly said, “Well, with the internet and all the technology, things happen so fast—no, we just don’t have the time.” THEY JUST DON’T HAVE THE TIME TO INVESTIGATE BENGHAZI, IRS, SOLYNDRA, SOROS, FAST AND FURIOUS, IMMIGRATION BREAKDOWN—the list is endless.

” “It’s just a matter of when she pulls the trigger.”
Boy, any comment I make here on this statement will only get me an authoritarian visit.
But HEY, I’m rooting for her.

Umm...Illinois is a no fault state. Thus, cheating doesn’t do a damn thing for her. Libs will think Barack is cool for cheating. Cons already dislike the guy. No gain. Thus this article is. BS. Fun to wish though.

Didn’t the National Enquirer come up with a legitimate John Edwards scoop a few years ago?

<><><>

Nothing screams credibility more than folks being able to come up with exactly one legit story in the entire history of a publication.
