Peru says El Niño threat over, waters cooling and fish returning

LIMA (Reuters) – The worst of the potentially disastrous weather pattern El Nino is now behind Peru and cooling sea temperatures are luring back schools of anchovy, the key ingredient in fishmeal, authorities said on Friday.

Temperatures in Peru’s Pacific peaked in June, rising 3 degrees Celsius (5.4 Fahrenheit) above average levels, but have since retreated and will likely return to normal by August, the state committee that studies El Nino said.

“The possibility of us seeing an extraordinary Nino is ruled out,” said German Vasquez, the head of the committee.

The same jugheads who predicted a bad El Nino this year are the same jugheads who are always whining about global cooling/global warming/climate change and now climate chaos. Losers. The crystal balls they use are all defective.

You don’t get it. Any and every weather event/non event is further evidence of global warming.

The lack of global warming is due to global warming. There, I’ve said it.

The scientific community refuses to admit that long term prediction of weather, climate, atmospheric content, water vapor, jet stream movement, volcanic release are not within our ability.

There are too many factors to be considered.

Joe Bastardi has been on this from the getgo. He has also said the fundamentals are not there for a strong El Nino. A mild one maybe.

When the government can control the volcanos, the ocean, and the sun, I’ll listen to what they want to do on gorbull warming

If we in California don’t get a big El Nino this winter, then the drought will get worse and the global warmist psychos will have a field day.

The most important factor in the temperature of the surface of the Earth (which is all we care about) is the most ephemeral.

It cannot be grabbed with our hands. It cannot be commanded.

It is a cloud. All variance of temperature on our planet is controlled by clouds. (exception is for CME’s or say a burst from a Supernova, but don’t let that cloud the issue.) If there were no clouds the Earth would be a bare blackened ball.

Even when you look up and see a clear blue sky, there are clouds above you.

I hope this is true. The monsoon here in India has also been very weak this year. This is what usually happens in El Nino years, so hopefully the weak to non-existent El Nino will mean more rain here, which is badly needed.

We had some unseasonable showers earlier in the year here, and that all but ruined the rice crop and several other staples. With almost no rain from the monsoon, whatever was spared by the storms earlier is now dying for lack of water.
