According to IDMB “Nathan and Ben land on the Moon in the Liberty module while John stays in orbit in the module Freedom. They collect rock samples and bring them to the Liberty. They also find footprints and the body of a Soviet cosmonaut on the moon. Soon they hear weird noises and they find that they are not alone in the satellite.”, so it sounds pretty accurate.

I’ll try to watch it.

I'm not urging anyone to watch Apollo 18 but we found it on Netflix and watched to its conclusion. Held our attention.

That looks like the TV detective Mannix. I used to watch Mannix every Friday after either Mission Impossible or Get Smart on another station. I never realized he did space travel!

Then you should make it all the way through Apollo 18! Would have been better if you hadn't gone to IMDB first. Skip the reviews and enjoy it for what it is.
