Jerry Brown: Affluent Families 'Not Producing' Children
CNS News ^ | 08/11/2014 | Penny Starr

Posted on 08/12/2014 8:49:35 AM PDT by Rusty0604

“I don't know what the affluent families are doing,” Brown said. “They're not producing or something, because half the kids in schools are from low-income families.”

At the conference, held in San Diego, Calif., in late June, Brown said California had addressed the fact that millions of children in the state’s school do not speak English.

You have to do more to be able to create that opportunity and that pathway for those families that are not having that same skill of speaking English as others,” Brown said.

“It’s pretty amazing,” Brown said. “I don't know what the affluent families are doing.

“They're not producing or something, because half the kids in schools are from low-income families,” Brown said.

Brown also spoke about immigration and “brown power.”

After giving a jumbled history of Spanish and Mexican occupation in California before statehood, Brown said power always shifts, including in the United States.

“The point is, you never keep control forever,” Brown said. “There’s always new waves coming.

“So you’ve got to stay ahead of the wave,” he added. “That’s what we call brown power.”

Something happened in 1973... I can’t quite put my finger on it. Something about the US Supreme Court inventing a Constitutional right to privacy... or something.

All the wrong people are having kids Jerry. You should be happy. The ignorant and the poor are your parties best constituents, followed by the base and the evil of society.

All the wrong people also have all the rights.

Speak of a father with three kids in the house:

My first thought was lack of children was the reason for being affluent. Those kids can be expensive....

Why are affluent families not producing kids in CA?

My guess is that they have no extra disposable income due to taxes. Someone need to pay the bills for those entitlements, eh? That, and the women have been brainwashed that they should have a career instead of a family. And, lastly, they have been told all their lives that rich White people are bad, so less of that, right?

quote “because half the kids in schools are from low-income families”

um... you mean half the kids in PUBLIC school are from low-income families.

most rich and upper middle class parents now send their kids to private school or home school them.

I think most city governments would be SHOCKED just how many white children there are living in their city. I know entire sections of town where nearly every family living there (nearly all white) either sends their kids to private school or home schools them.

This is such a large number of children, that should they all decide simultaniously to send their kids to the local public school, those school which are currently nearly 100% minority, would overnight more than double in size with white kids making up the majority.

It’s easy Jerry. The poor people are being rewarded for having kids..and the middle class is taxed to pay for it. If you cut off SPAN, birthright citizenship, welfare, section 8 housing, day care, WICK, and PK...they would stop having kids.
As it is..those kids are a gold mine..so why stop having them.

The affluent send their kids to private schools, Jerry. I bet you know a lot of these families.

Maybe because both parents are working all day long instead of hanging around at home with nothing to do but ****?

Nobody pays the affluent to have kids.

The impoverished on the other hand...

True. But he is good at pretending not to be affluent.

Maybe, just maybe, because we have virtually unrestricted immigration...you know that we aren’t getting the best and brightest from south of the border. Dimwit...or should I say, Demwit!

Because the people have an entire “village” of kids to raise. Actually, I think the affluent should actually be assigned the poor kids they are raising, get copies of grade cards, photos, updates, etc. just to get an idea how well their “kids” are doing.

Good grief. He just realized that he’s running out of middle class and wealthy people to steal from and he’s worried. Leftists are the most clueless people on the planet.

When you tax and penalize something you get less of it. (middle and high income families)
When you you cut a check for something you get more of it. (low income families)
What part of that is so hard to grasp?

I’m guessing for Jerry Brown all of it.
