To suggest that home cooking is not always better (absent full-on neglect of nutritional standards or stupidity), is pure crazy talk.
Crazy talk.

Not sure what you're cooking at home that costs $20 per serving unless it's fillet mignon or something top of the line. I'm by myself and I have a home cooked meal every day. Costs me maybe $5 per serving. What works for me is to cook in bulk, divide into individual portions and freeze. When I'm hungry, I'll take out a serving and microwave.
I usually shop sales, clip coupons and buy in quantity. I also shop often at discount grocers such as Aldis or Bottom Dollar. Sure, food is expensive, but you can still get a decent meal at home for a lot less than at a restaurant. And you can control what's in your meal too.

Soon liberal wives will be demanding $25/hour to pay them to screw up dinner.
Besides free birth control/abortions and equal pay, the liberals will be giving our tax money to women to prepare meals.

Lets Stop Idealizing the Home-Cooked Family Dinner I'd suggest that the author is a butthead.
I don't know about all that sit-down family bonding stuff, but I'll
tell you what, the stuff that we cook out back of my place or over at
Eaker's place or at the shoot.. at the range or at the camp..will
stack up against any high-dollar no-smokin' restaurant chow any day.
And most favorably at that.
Bought food CAN be made better by serving it out the back of a truck..
Just sayin'..

[ When I see these parents going to Publix or another store to get their pre made food makes me think they are just pure lazy, and cant be bothered to be a family , a close family and talk to each other ]
EBT and SNAP are used to buy a LOT of frozen dinners that are then thawed out in the microwave to be eaten in front of the glowing idiot box...

My woman grows, cans, freezes and cooks her foods and is a teacher too. She only complains at times when she’s physically a little spent but she wouldn’t have it any other way. She’s smart and good with the guns too. Plus she believes in God. Everything a liberal woman ain’t.

Make sure you folks know what the other hand is doing!!!
The “home cooked family meal” also means husbands, wives, and children around a common table, sharing their day, passing on guidance and wisdom and values.
I tell my kids that our meal table has great powers to keep them alive and out of trouble.

...sociologists Sarah Bowen, Sinikka Elliott, and Joslyn Brenton from North Carolina State University argue that the stress that cooking puts on people, particularly women, may not be worth the trade-off. Complete BS. I know some people who eat out nearly every night and are still stressed out over other things, many of which are very minor aggrevations. They are just tightly wound and too intense and don't handle life's daily challenges very well.

Oh, I implied but did not state explicitly,
that the left despises the idea that parents would disciple their children, so this is why they oppose the family dinner table.

This woman is a certified loon. I had words with her over at The Guardian before she was superseded by another loon and I was banned from commenting. She's an evil Texan who transplanted her way to New York City - my hometown.
As someone who prepares a home cooked meal every night and tries to turn it into something delightful (and often fails) I give her a huge Bronx cheer and a major raspberry. Ladies: cook for your loved ones - family and friends. It gracious, nutritious and filling.

Yeah, to the left, traditional marriage and family, heterosexual love, the Constitution and the Bible are overrated.
