Weight Watchers Tracking page is down again. They must be doing something to the site. I wrote all the stuff down today, but the site was iffy yesterday, too, and I didn’t have my book with me.

I took a purse that matched my shoes when we went to the museum, and the purse wasn’t big enough to hold the book. I will have to remember that, and just take the book, anyway. I don’t have the points handy, but it will be easy to transcribe into the book if the stuff is on the website.

Tomorrow, we are going to the county shooting range, but I will take my laundry over so I can do it on Monday. It means I will be there until Tuesday morning, but I don’t have any choice. I have no undies left. *erk*

Tonight’s dinner will be butternut squash soup with buttered crackers. I hope I have enough soup here to last me a while. Do you have a list of food point values?

I have the site up. What do you need to know? Butternut squash is Zero! Butter is 1 pt per teaspoon. Crackers, it depends on the kind.

If the food isn’t really heavy with fat, you can estimate the Points at 50 calories/pt.

Surgery went very well, every few weeks I’ll go in to the plastic surgeons and they’ll inject saline and stretch the skin and that will hurt, they tell me.
aaauuuuggggghhhhhh

More pain.

And our unbelievably cruel FReeper tax-chick is telling me funny things in PM and I don’t want to laugh!!!! hahahaha aaauuuuggggghhhhhh

I only use Ritz crackers. Saltines remind me too much of when I was a newlywed and my sailor husband was gone for three weeks during the Cuban Crisis. I went through the crackers and butter, then made my own tortillas.

Oddly enough, my allotment check was sent back because the postmaster in my husband’s hometown knew I was no longer there. I don’t think he had the right to do that without a formal notice, and I was late on the rent as well as being broke. Those were the days before food stamps, so my gangly body was a mere 137 when he got back. Or maybe it was 129...

Well, I will keep my trap shut then about the newest GPS following truck driver who admitted he saw the signage for “UNFI” but was absolutely convinced that my jobsite was his destination (UNFI) despite the two being on opposite sides of the road...

That is useful! I wondered what the formula was. At least when I’m in a do-or-die situation, I can at least estimate what damage I have done to my weight loss plan!

I was following an article about conjoined twins who were to be surgically separated.

It was sufficiently complicated to be interesting, and one of the complications was that to have enough skin to cover two separate individuals, they had to grow more skin in place before surgery, so that at the conclusion of the surgery, they would have enough to be able to have complete coverage.

They were describing something similar to what you’re undergoing, the stretching of skin from the inside.

Who would have guessed that the science of medicine would have the mathematical arts of topology sewn into it?

I included T-c just to be courteous. She knows nothing about the occasional stretching of skin.

I have a sister who went through that. Her skin was so taut that it was agony to go through the procedures. She is cancer free, now. So I will pray that your pain is bearable. *hug*

Nothing can match the unbelievable pain of waking up at 3:30 am, the night of the surgery that day and having to get up out of bed by myself. Screaming, and her just going “you have a low pain tolerance, don’t you?” as if she was going her nails.

I think I need to invest in some Mrs. Dash spice mixtures. I have some McCormick’s, but they all have salt.

Maybe, before my three months are up, I will get the hang of this weight-loss stuff and be able to buy food for more than a week at a time. I seem to run out of the things I need before the week is out, but after the money is gone.

I’m SO serious about losing this weight, and so frustrated because I’m so ignorant about the ins and outs. I was hoping the Plan & Track book would help me out, and it has...I’m just frustrated that I can’t follow the guidelines consistently.

*sigh*

You are so rght, Shimmer...Nully is WAY beyond being punny...he is a MASTER at it! My family is full of punsters, but Nully had me in stitches the entire time he stayed with me!

He would fit in with the rest of the Wags and none of us would be able to breathe...we would feed off each other!

Hang tough, Girl!

She should have been fired on the spot. I wonder how well SHE would do? Probably not as well. Take comfort in knowing that your FReeper family is going through this with you! *hug*
