Can you just put a lid on the pot and stick it in the refrigerator? I used to do that sometimes, back when the refrigerator wasn’t as full. Then you can heat what you want in a smaller pot.
I can, but the pots have a tendency to become Science Projects. I don’t have a lot of pots and pans because I live alone. The stuff in my pan cupboard is minimal, at best.
I put new stuff in the fridge and the older stuff goes to the back...little by little, it ferments and becomes something from a Sci-Fi movie. And then it goes into the Dumpster for further deliberations...
