Michelle Obama showed her support for teen poets today at the President's Committee on the Arts and the Humanities poetry reading at the White House.
The First Lady wore a chic black and white tie dye-style dress for the occasion, accessorizing the look with a wide black belt and black pointy kitten heels.
She certainly is at the top of her fashion game these days; in fact it was announced this week that she will host the White House's first ever Fashion Education Workshop, which will bring together professional designers and young students interested in getting into the industry.

As big as she is, the dress would look much better if it were majorly black with some white on in, instead of looking like a big ship’s sale with stains on it.
Her hair looks very nice; the First Lady actually looks pretty.
I just wish she would get rid of the belt—I think it would be much more flattering to her body. The belt just makes her lower half look bigger, at least from what I’m seeing.
I’d love to see Stacy and Clinton from the old What Not to Wear have a go with Michelle. I bet they’d do a great job.
Oh my gosh, your wife is right! I see it, I think! Plus the panty appears to be a bit too tight; in one picture you can see a bit of a hip or belly roll between the belt and the top of a pair of underwear I think.
Poor Michelle... Lord knows I wouldn’t pass scrutiny like this.

First lady of style? Seriously, DM that woman’s sense of style is nonexistent. The dress is hideous and the belt does nothing to enhance it or her. I hope the next First Lady truly can lay claim to the title. Laura Bush wore clothes that were beautiful and flattered her. She also adorned herself with a smile, this fashion disaster usually is scowling. Ugh!
