Comics do stupid things like this all the time. Eventually, Thor will revert to being the original and Cap will go back to Steve Rogers. You can set your watch by it.

I like Marvel but this may be the end. This is why Frank Miller, especially the Dark Knight graphic novels, is a breath of fresh air. He castigates liberalism.

The only thing that’s even remotely interesting about this is that, unlike multiple previous times Thor has been a chick (and even a frog once), comics are big enough for people that aren’t nerds to know it’s happening. I’m not really sure which crowd needs to STFU more, the non-nerds who think this is some awesome feminist thing, or the non-nerds who think this is some evil feminist thing, both crowds are equally annoying in their need to inflict views on a simple event that has happened before and will happen again. It’s just a story, comics are filled with them, probably won’t last 6 months, 1 year tops, Thor will be back to a dude, and the moving hand, having drawn, will move on.
