Meaning no disrespect, but I don't get why they all just kneel. If you thought a guy was going to cut off your head, how could you remain still, wouldn't reflex and other stuff kick in? I don't get it.
Can someone explain/ Are they drugged maybe or what?

They are probably lied to, told that if they just kneel, nothing will happen.
I would think they would have to be drugged, knowing what was happening.
Probably they’ve pretended dozens of times before they were about to be unheaded and nothing ever came of it those other times.
My thought is that they’ve gone through this a few times and they think it’s just another video.
One thought I had was they give them a choice of how to die: Succumb to the beheading or be tortured first that is a 1000 times worse than beheading.
Because they are subject to”mock” executions again and again. When they finally “accept” their fate, WHACK!
I would imagine they are heavily drugged.
Drugged is my guess.
Their captors control all their food and water,
it would be easy, start small then up the dosage.
I have a feeling that underneath those robes they make the victims wear they’re trussed up like a christmas turkey.

I saw an interview with a guy who was held for several months by a similiar group. They do mock executions all the time. They may also be drugged.
In most cases they are just broken. I’d like to think I would fight too but how about after months of torture and abuse?
2years of intimidation, fear, and psychosis x 24 hours / day x 60 minutes per hour = mind-numbed

Story I’ve heard is they do mock executions repeatedly, and the victims on the tapes you see don’t know this is the real one until it’s too late. That said, I haven’t watched these videos and don’t need to.

Plus maybe a bunch of guys with guns ...but then they’re thinking they’re joking or something ....
Maybe they are told it will be quick if they sit and take it versus fighting it. They are bound, so they can’t really escape.
The alternative is to be blinded, have your tongue cut out, be castrated, disemboweled, have your hands and feet cut off one knuckle at a time and have the Koran read to you in Arabic.
