That breaks the monopoly. Faced with the spectre of other nations publishing uncensored Mars images, NASA and JPL have started publishing some much more obvious images than they have in the past including a totally uncensored video (JPL) showing large-scale structure.

You want to get the MRI so you can get the next thing, which will make you feel much better.
I don’t like MRI ‘s either. Can you bring a favorite CD so they can play it for you? Also if you have a small stuffed animal like a beanie baby, you can hold it and that helps too.

No, Gefn, I won’t be listening to anything. My claustrophobia is so bad, they have to put me out for a procedure that will last 20 minutes. The only thing I can take with me is a driver and she called last night to confirm, so this morning at 0830, I will be heading out. I probably won’t be back until around noon, but I will be glad when it’s over with.
Then I can get my epidural and get some range of motion in my neck again, without the pain.

It IS arthritis. It affects every joint in my body, and it’s made worse by chronic bursitis in all the joints. (Call me “’Face,” please!)
The epidural is probably a few weeks away, because the doctors have to read the MRI results, then decide where to inject the cortisone. I’ll keep you posted, though.
I feel bad now. You take her, I will take the baby basement kitty.

I got you with FRiends. I’m totally housebound now that I’m on the oxygenator and I’m going stir crazy. I can’t go outside!

I’m often housebound, so I know the frustration you’re feeling. You will appreciate taking care of yourself much better when you are well. The extra effort of obeying the doctor’s orders will pay off when you don’t suffer a relapse because you left too soon.
